thanks i'll have to give heavy forced reps a try i've always believed theres no point doing it and it doesn't count as a rep if the spotter even touches the bar with a finger
I agree with you. If the spotter puts his fingers on the bar...then do not coun that one(unless you are doing forced reps).
Forced reps are great (if you do not have any joint problems). I love them. It allows my body to get use to the heavier weights. ALso, I am sore as hell for days on end.
i wish my joints would allow me to go heavier... my chest doesn't feel as pumped lately becuase my shoulder hurts during bench presses and declines especially.
