pianful knees ~ wtf...

Stiffler

New member
this might sound stupid but my knees (both) have been hurting now for like 2-3 weeks. somedays its not to bad others it doesnt hurt at all, but most of the time they kill. the pain is right below my knee caps, like if u push just below them it really hurts. or if I try to straighten them all the way it hurts pretty bad.

So can anyone help me out??? am I taking something that is causing this or could it be from training? please help me out, today is leg day and im going to have to skip it again.:(
thank you

we need some stats bro:
-type of gear if any
-training routine
-etc. etc.

Than somebody can help you out...

Im not on any gear right now.
my leg routine is; squats, leg press, ham curls, leg extentions, calf raises.
im supplementing; creatine,1500mg of vit C,800mg vit E,multi vit,100mg zinc, aminos, portein powder, and (Claritin for allergies)
stats;
175lbs
6'
16%bf

well thats all i can thnk of let me now if i need to add any more info to this cause I would really like to figure out the problem.

This is in no way medical advice, but do a search on the Meniscus Cartilidge in the knee. That was my problem.
Sometimes it hurt sometimes it didn't.

Turns out I tore it pretty good. Had my knee scoped, and I'm back do squats......no pain.

From what I understand, its a pretty common injury.
And I thought I was special.....LOL

Just my .02.........

For supplements I'd sudggest Chondriton(sp) It's supposed to help with sore joints

Also you may just need to take a break, if any tendons, or tissue is swollen or inflammed around the knee you might be reaggravating it every time you train. Hopefelly someone will chime in that can be of more assistance...

sound like shin splints............(if your running)

or if not......... then you could be letting you heel come up on quad exercises

keep it planted and dont let it come up

also if you have gained a lot of weight quickly..... it could put a lot of stress on the joints

try knee wraps......start from the bottom and criss cross patern while focusing on securing the point thats hurting

imo

shin slints, hmm maybe that could be it. I think im just going to take 2-3 weeks off of legs and see what happens i guess.

Next time you squat...box squat...look at some west side stuff and learn..much easier on the knees!!!!

think you might need more

I think shin splints will come back even if you take a break. Go look up shin splints on google and see if their is anything else you should be doing. I had them once in highschool! Very painful!

i have the easiest cure for shin splints

it worked for me and everyone i have recomended it to.

while your sitting at work, school, or at home watching tv:

with your heels planted on the floor pull your foot up as high as posible

keep doing it untill it feels like they are going to explode.

just keep doing it... over and over and over and over again

with in 2 days mine went away during wrestling season and they never hurt again.

shin splints are 99% of the tim due to weak tibiallus anterior muscle....... that muscle on the front of your calf

i hope it helps
