Personal Trainers..

In my opinion..

trainers help with assisted lifts....those last 3 or 4 reps on a really heavy set that you would never be able to do on your own...helps you get the "feel" of a heavier wt...really like this on squats or bench....

and they help on keeping your form strict....

but get one that's into bodybuilding...that "looks" like he/she works out...and not the skinny gym employee that has a certification but not much else to recommend him!

oh and it's great to have someone to load and unload wts for ya!

I agree, if you are interested in BB, get a trainer who knows about it. Either way - do NOT pick a trainer based on looks.

A person can look great & have a great physique in spite of their ignorance rather than because of their knowledge.

A person could be a former BB, have an injury - you just don't know. They could also have a KILLER BB Bod & just be a generally irritating arrogant jerk who would act as they know it all, not answer all your questions with any scientific basis, & put you on too few calories.

Don't select based on looks.

I dont know though...my grocery bill is much more than $300 a month. You might be losing money in the deal....but I do "know some stuff" to make you strong.
