Hi everyone. I eat lunch at 12pm (Chicken Breast & Pasta) ½ an hour after eating I crash (badly) & the sleepy,lethargic feeling lasts for hours.The problem is,I can only train at 2.pm which means I am training half asleep,I’m really weak & not motivated to train.I go back to work after a crap workout miserable that I wasted my time but after a while the crash passes,I feel great again & then I am even more annoyed that I was so tired during my workout. I know the pasta is causing a spike in insulin & that’s why I am getting so tired.Is there any way to counter the rise in insulin so I don’t get tired? I cut back on the quantity of pasta but I am still getting really sleepy. If I ate rice with chicken instead of the pasta will I still have a rise in insulin & crash?
