pain from first pin of test e

Okay so after pinning myself for the first time Tuesday night in my right glute with 250mg of test E, I had some pain the next morning and the pain is pretty bad still, tonight is 48 hours since the pin, now my skin is virgin skin. I have no lumps or bruises but today i see a little red, not at the injection site but there is a pimple a little below the injection site from before. Hoping it gets better as I've read that pain can last a 3-5 days especially if it is the first time. Again no swelling or lump but just red not at the injection site but below the pimple on my right glute. Should I be worried? I will be injecting my 2nd dose tomorrow maybe on my left glute or shoulder, I'm hoping this might just be because I had a big pimple below the injection site and the pain made the area below the pimple a little red today. I just hope it subsides, I followed all the steps for the preparation and pinning, just wanted some input from you guys.

What size of pins are you using?

For my glute I used a 23 gauge 1.5" pin. I wiped the top of the vial with some isopropyl alcohol 70% that I bought from the pharmacy using some cotton rounds and then wiped my injection site with another cotton round using it with the iso alcohol. Then I injected, the only I forgot and was a big mistake is to aspirate. But I'm hoping I didn't hit a nerve since I didn't feel anything bad for the 10-15 seconds the needle was inside.

I have always used a 25 gauge needle in lieu of a 23 gauge and it is painless. You more than likely injected into a vein. It should subside in 3 to 4 days. I would rotate your glutes and shoulders from now on due to their being less blood vessels to hit. Best of luck to you.

i injected the other day into my right delt for the first time in maybe a year and i have PIP after 3 days. the muscle isn't used to getting pinned.

I did, was particularly conscious of that...lol

1st pin is gonna hurt even if you just pin water

You're shaky, nervous, your muscle is virgin, and you're using a23gauge

It'll be another day or two


Try getting some 25gauge and warmibg the oil. Also massage the area
