overtrain 1 week rest 1 week vs train 3 days a week

my situation is. i will be busy for one week 14 days later. i wont be able to lift and i will be in another city. so can i just workout everyday for one week tire out entire body then rest for one week in that city. would it be like normal working out 3 days a week?
 
I lift pretty much 6-7 days a week and am doing fine. Do what you want to do
 
You can do abs, core, push ups, chins on a door frame, tris on chairs, anywhere. Prob more stuff if you research it. You can always do something....
 
Yup i agree. You just need your own body to get a workout in. No need to kill yourself. Overtraining will lead to injuries.

i don't think working out 3 days a week is similar to working out one week then a week off. u would make more gains doing a 3 day split every week than alternating lifting and rest by full wks. like the guys have said, just find ways to work out when ur in this other city. i'm guessin u can get some power bands to travel with. they can be used for just about every exercise. u just need a few different sizes and get creative. the city ur going to doesn't have any health clubs or gyms? when i'm traveling i just pay one day fees at whatever club is there. if its for work ur company may reimburse u for it.
 
Why does this other city not have a gym? They have gyms just about everywhere.
