Wished I could....

I might crank 1 or 2 out occasionally, but it's not part of my routine....

At 260lb's it's pretty tough.

Then some 160-180 pound musclehead will crank out 10-20....not good for my ego to say the least. :)

I'm not over 250 but at 240 I can do 12 for my first set. The key is to build up with ladders. Do a single, rest a minute then do two, rest a minute and do three. You get the picture. Before I really tried to improve them I could do two or three reps tops.

I don't weigh 250 but with the additional weight I strap on it's pushing 260...did 5x5 with 75 lbs last week

I always do at least 3x5 on back day. When I do close grip I grab a 40lb dumbell between my feet...so pulling 270ish isn't so bad IMHO!

When I first started training yrs. ago I couldn't do one :worried: . It was so embarrassing I made it my goal to be able to do at least a set of 10. I can proudly say it's the first exercise I do for back now. First set is 12 reps. From there I will do (3)weighted sets(up to 35lbs.) for 8-10 reps.
