ostarine /s-4 stack log

I figured I would log my results with this stack so here it is.

I just started a few days ago so I've yet to see any crazy results but I have noticed a few things.

My stats:

height: 6
weight: 220 lbs
% bf: ? between 12-15 not really sure I don't have calipers

I my goal here is to recomp. I don't want to shed a bunch of weight, just replace some fat with some extra muscle.

My lifting consists of weights 2-3 days on and 1 day off
I do 1 muscle group per day ie chest, back, arms, legs, shoulders
On my off days I will do 30 mins of cardio followed by 15 mins of abs

About 2 days a week I do krav maga, boxing, and bjj, all of which are great workouts to supplement weight training. If I miss any body parts in the gym, these activities make up for it.

Dosages: Ostarine: 25mg @ noon ed. S-4: 25 mg @ 4pm and 25mg @8pm pre-workout.

I think I will run this 6-8 weeks depending on results or sides.

A few things I've noticed thus far:

The first couple days I dropped about 5-7 lbs while still being fully hydrated. My strength in the gym stayed the same but I got super lean and felt weak and tired when not in the gym. I decided to increase my food intake to offset this extreme drop. I ate alot yesterday, not even the cleanest of calories, and woke up very lean this morning so I think this stuff is burning up everything I put down. I am almost back up to 220 in the morning so I will continue to eat more than usualy calories until I stop seeing fat loss

Another change: last night during my leg/shoulder workout I had alot more energy than usual and my shoulders had a really good pump going.

My workout was this:

legs:

squats 5x5: 135, 215, 275, 295, 315
leg extensions 3x10: 135, 145, 155
leg curls 3x8: 70, 70, 70

shoulders:

superset 1:
db shoulder press 3x10 w/ 45s, 50s, 60s

with

db lateral raises 3x12 w/ 10s
db front raises: 3x12 w/ 10s
db reverse grip front raises: 3x12 w/ 10s

superset 2:

sitting bent over db side raises 3x12 w/ 10s
rear delt db raises 3x12 w/ 10s
smith machine shrugs 3x failure @ 135

I admit I don't use much weight on shoulders because I have rotator cuff issues, and I may decrease the weight on legs because my knee hurts today and I don't want to over-do it.


My diet consist of whole grain tortillas with cheese (mini quesadillas), brown rice and jerk chicken, broccolli, fiber one cereal, wheaties, milk and protein powders. I eat every two hours.

I am trying to cut simple sugars to a minimum. The only simple sugar I have is my OJ that I chase the SARMs with, since the stuff tastes like gasoline lol

I take alot of supplements/vitamins: multi, fish oil, joint supps, resveratrol, b vitamins, zma, amino acids, etc. I stopped taking creatine cuz it was giving me the sh*ts.

I hear that at these dosages the S-4/ Osta stack can be suppressive so I will take DAA during cycle and will have a SERM for PCT in case my boys shrink at all.

anyway I have arms tonight which is probly my favorite day of the week so Ill post here later with my workout and see what yall think.

I ran N2Burn on an SD cutting cycle once and it gave me some really bad low blood sugar symptoms. I'd be careful using anything that will affect your blood sugar if you haven't already had a run with it...

What you doin for PCT and for how long?

I'll be keeping an eye on your results...I know I love what my SS S4 gives me...as long as your diet is dialed in and your training is on point you'll love it.

lol well I started the log. Im curious about your PCT cuz I wasn't sure how I should run mine. I was thinking I'd use clomid and run it 50mg ed for 4 weeks and then 25mg ed for 4 weeks. Or do you think that's too much?

I've only run SD and LMG in the past so I'm used to running PCT for those. If the suppression isn't bad on this stack then I'll probly run a smaller dose

My diet is the cleanest its been in awhile. I think my problem is sometimes I get impatient on the fat loss and cut my caloric deficit too low, then I end up with low blood sugar and feel like crap all day.

I think I've found a good middle ground here as far as not starving myself though so we'll see how it goes.

Training is good I'd say, but I guess that's why Im logging in case I need a little motivation or advice from yall.

Oh, cool. This is the way I've seen Dylan design a SARMS stack, although I'm not doing the triple stack (yet, that is. I'm watching uniquemicals for their new release. I may include it when I see it). Dylan has alot of SARMS experience. You may want to pm him to see about the clomid, but I think, if you have the HCGenerate in the cycle, you'll have an easy recovery with Unleashed/Post Cycle for 3 weeks.
 
Had a good arm workout. Definitely starting to get that "on" feeling. The pump I got was the best Ive had in a long time. Here's my workout:

Barbell curls 3x5 @ 95, 95, 105

db french presses 3x10, 8, 6 w/ 30,s 35s, 40s

superset 1:

hammer curls 3x8, 6, 5 w/ 50s, 60s, 65s

db overhead tri extensions: 3x10, 10, 10 @ 70, 80, 80


ex bar preacher curls: 3x6 @ 50, 50, 60

pulley t-bar push downs: 3x 10-12 @ 60, 65, 70

pulley v-bar push downs: 4x 6-8 @ 75, 80, 85, 90


Post workout meal:

, 1 scoop of glutamine, i scoop of fiber, 2 scoops hydrolized whey mixed with 12 oz milk

a head of raw broccoli with some ranch dip

over sized bowl of cereal (fiber one and wheaties mixed)

scoop of casein mixed with 8 ox of milk

scoop of bullet proof for bed time

Hoping to get some good rest tonight. I think Ive been getting some insomnia from the SARMs. Weird though because the sleep I do get is so deep and resorative that the times I wake up dont seem to matter. Ive been having some very weird, vivid dreams. I guess my REM sleep is on overdrive. Kinda trippy.

My libido seems to be through the roof too. I dont seem to be experiencing any shut down, if anything its quite the opposite;. So far Im liking the SARMs, looking forward to seeing how this cycle in going to turn out.

Yep I love S4 porbably my favorite of the SARM compounds and SS has never failed to impress me either.

Diet is tricky......sometimes if I dont balance it right I end up eating a whole large pizza at night because my blood sugar is so low. Glad you've got it down should do wonders for you

So this morning I feel really good. My arms are sore, but not as much as they usual would be. Definitely experiencing those recovery effects of the ostarine. I think taking my ostarine dose earlier in the day helped out with the insomnia, last night I got a full night of sleep and actually woke up before my alarm feeling great, rested.

One thing I don't like, I woke up starving. I think the SARMs are causing my body to devour any calories at an extreme rate. I take casein with milk before bed to maintain slow digesting protein while I sleep, and normally this keeps me from being hungry in the morning. I guess if Im hungry in the morning it means my body was being starved for some duration during my sleep. I think I should increase to two scoops of casein before bed or maybe have a couple scoops of peanut butter... casein aint cheap...

Probably gunna do chest tonight. I wasn't going to cuz I hit tris really hard last night, but they aren't really that sore today so I bet I'll be good by 8pm. This will be a good chance to test out the strength enhancing properties of this stack., although last night I increased some weight on curls so that's already some evidence.

So far I've noticed the following benefits from this stack:

1. extreme fat shedding,
2. increased vascularity,
3. increased pumps,
4. fuller muscles/ muscle hardness
5. increased sex drive,

and the following sides:

1. insomnia (although I may have solved that problem)
2. if I don't eat more than I did before cycle, I get really lethargic

This is all after a week. So far I'm really impressed. I've done a couple superdrol cycles and noticed similar results this early on, except SD can be dangerous lol so I'm digging the SARMs right now.
 
I love your log man. I'm planning on running some Osta soon and then an Osta/ S4 cycle after that. Great detail, keep it up!
 
Yep, Sarms have the potential to show you things quickly. Some experience this, some don't, but I firmly believe as long as you're dieting properly you'll see it fast and get the most benefits

Never done osta, but as I said before, I am never let down by SS's S4. I'm excited for you, treat it right and it'll treat you right. :)

Had a good chest workout tonight. Strength had gone up a bit, even though my triceps we sore I still went up 10 lbs on bench for 5 reps and still had the energy for a couple burn outs and a bunch of pulley flys.

Here was tonight's workout:

Bench press 5x5 @ 135, 205, 225, 235, 245
Bench press 2 sets to failure @ 185, 135

Pulley flyes ~10 sets to failure @ 15, 20, 25, 30,35, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20

On the flyes I varied positioning either perpendicular to the floor or somewhat parallel. When paralell I alternate reps either in front of my chest (to contract the upper-middle chest) or down in front of my waist (to contract the lower-middle part)

Post workout:

2 sccops hydrolized whey
10 oz milk
2 small chocolate chip cookies (some fast sugars)

dinner:
Large portion of jerk chicken breast
large portion of curry brown rice mixed with:

-= broccoli
- yellow onions
- green onions
- sliced garlic

pre- bedtime:

2 scoops casein
scoop of fiber
6 oz milk
1 scoop glutamine

I took an extra scoop of casein cuz my body seems to be burning through my normal dose during sleep. Gunna see if this makes it so Im not starving by morning.

My energy levels in the gym since Ive been taking S4 pre workout have been through the roof. Aggression is awesome. I have to watch myself to make sure I dont over do it, gotta watch out for injuries...

As for the insomnia I am pretty awake right now at 1:36 AM but I think its just cuz Ive been doing stuff all night and keeping myself awake. Bout to pass out soon so I'll post on here tomorrow morning after cardio and abs.
 
How late are you taking your last dose?

I take my s4 at 7:45 PM, one hour before my workout. I get off work at 8 pm and am usually in the gym by 8 30. That S4 is my last dose of the day.

My sleep seems to be more effective on this cycle, even on nights I dont get a full 8 hours, I feel more rested when I wake up than normal. I havent hit the snooze button in a few days, when normally I hit it like 4 times every morning lol



This morning I hit up cardio for 30 mins and abs for about 30 mins after that.

Abs consisted of:

leg raises 4x12-15
weighted exercise ball crunches at 25lbs: 4x20-25
hyperextensions: 3x20
rope pulldowns: 3xfailure @ 25, 30, 35
decline crunches: 2xfailure @ bodyweight

I took my first dose of S4 pre workout, my ostarine at the normal 12pm, and then my second dose of S4 5 hours after the first dose.

I dunno if its bad that I switched my S4 dose around today so it revolved around my workout, but I feel like my workouts are much better when I take it before hand.

Felt kinda lethargic after my workout cuz I hadn't eaten yet but after some chicken, a sweet potato, milk and protein and a good nap I feel much better.

I just had another casein, whey, and milk instead of another meal cuz I got boxing in a few hours and I don't wanna throw up lol

Ill post again on here after boxing before I pass out for the night.
 
Id start taking the dose earlier. Some have sleep issues when they take their doses too late.
 
I may change my last dose if it messes with my sleep any more. I've been ok the past few days though in fact I'd say my sleep has been better. Maybe my body just had to adjust to the change.

Had a good boxing session tonight. Two hours of getting my butt whipped by a little asian man:

- Shadow boxing
- focus mitts
- sparring
- focus mitts

My cardio feels like its going up. I know Im not taking GW, but I definitely felt like I could go much harder and longer (giggity) than usual. Normally I would have collapsed after whgat we did tonight, and I felt great for much of it.

I still got gassed eventually, but it took much longer to get there and a very short breather had me caught up very quickly.

Post workout:

40g of syntha-6
silk amino acids
bcaas
two bowls of jerk chicken and habanero curry brown rice
one oversized bowl of wheaties and fiber one cereal
40g of casein mixed with 8 oz of milk, glutamine and fiber powder

I lost about 4 lbs of water weight during that session, so I loaded up on water and calories afterward so I could get back up to 220 for bed time.

Should have plenty of food in my gut to digest throughout the night, so hopefully I dont wake up starving tomorrow morning...

Took a bunch of stuff out of Arnold's encyclopedia for tonight's back workout. That S4 is ridiculous for pre-workout I'm starting to get some serious intensity in the gym.

Romanian Deadlifts: 1 set warm up, 4 sets of 10

Wide grip pull ups 1 x failure

Close grip pull ups 1 x failure

Bent over barbell rows 4 x 8-10

Close grip pulley rows 4 x 10-12

wide grip pull downs 4 x 10

close grip pull downs 4 x 10-15

barbell pull-overs 4 x 15-20

hyper-extensions 3 x 20

leg raises 3 x 12-15

weighted exerise ball crunches 3 x 20-25


post workout:

40 grams hydro whey w/ 6 oz milk

1 oversized bowl of fiber one and wheaties

two handfuls of mixed nuts

40 grams of casein w/ 6 oz milk and 6 oz water



A few more notes on my SARM experience

positive:

- Starting to notice in the mornings I'm looking a lot more ripped than usual, even after stuffing my face the night before
- awesome workout intensity, great recovery between sets
- I've lost a slight bit of weight from my starting position, but I'm making gains in strength in almost every lift
- not feeling any signs of sides, vision or otherwise
- My sex drive isn't going crazy like it was a couple days ago, but I'm not having any trouble performing so I'm good there
- I don't feel like I'm having any suppression, the boys are still normal size

negative:

- nothing negative really. Last night I did wake up a few times throughout the night, even though my last dose of the day was about 8 hours before bed.
- however, I'm not worrired about waking up a few times as long as I am rested when I awake in the morning, wihch I have been doing fine with

Overall I'm really enjoying SARMs. I like the small but steady gains. I'm getting workouts reminiscent of my Superdrol cycles, except I'm not experiencing any suppression. Maybe not quite as much strength gain as SD, but I'm also not killing my organs lol
 
I am runnimg a full sarms stack and am waking 2-3 times a night too, but feelimg fantastic amd fully rested in the morning.

Same here...I can't seem to sleep more than 3 hours before I have to get up, walk around and get something to drink or a shake, and back to bed...some nights better than others. I will use N2 Sleep or Sleep Aid from Mr.Supps to knock me out on the weekends, but during the week I need to be up by 3:45-4 am to get ready for the gym & work.

The only thing that my rats have ever complained about sleep wise is GW. Makes them pretty lethargic at the high 20mg/day dose...once the day is going it's usually alright though, just brutal when they first wake up.

My body is clearly getting all the rest it needa despite waking up so i dont worry about it. I wake just long enough to pee and take sip.of water then back to bed.

I started taking the S4 a few days after I started the ostarine. I've been on S4 for a week now at 50mg a day with no vision sides. I may amp it up to 75 a day since I havent had any vision sides.

Thursday will be two weeks on Ostarine so I should start seeing some more noticeable effects from it around then.

My daytime diet is pretty much brown rice and jerk chicken, and nighttime is just my post workout and bed time intake.

Diet has been pretty strict for a few weeks now, and my training is getting pretty intense so I have been seeing some good results. I dunno how extreme the results would appear to someone else, but to myself I am definitely noticing more definition, ie top abs are popping a little bit, striations in chest, lower and middle back

Still rocking the love handles a bit, as well as the lower stomach fat, I feel like that sh*t is always the last to go.
 
Vision sides can take up to a couple of weeks to appear, so don't assume that one week means you are safe. Dylan posted something about dosing for S4 a while back that you should search for and read - advice for very very very slowly upping the dose from 50 and how long to wait to do so.

Oh I know I was just making a note of it. I can definitely tell the S4 has been working just by the intensity of my workouts and the pumps I get while I'm in the gym.

I have chest tonight so I've been loading up on the brown rice for some extra carbs. I'm ready to tear it up once I get off work!
 
Had a good couple days off, got some good workouts in and a nice cheat meal. Monday night I had chest, tuesday morning was boxing, wed. morning was cardio/abs, wed. night was boxing again.

I amped it up for chest on Monday, did a lot more sets than usual:


Bench Press- 5x5 @ 135, 205, 225, 235, 245
Smith Machine Incline 6 x 8-10
Incline DB- 6x8-10 > superset BB pullovers 6 x 10-15
Pulley flyes- pyramid 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15

abs

I accidentally jumped to 245 without hitting 235, so I ended up doing two sets with 245 and wasn't able to complet my last heavy set on bench. I reached failure and powered through it with a spotter so its ok.

I noticed last night despite being much leaner from my diet and increases in training intensity, I don't look like I've lost any muscle mass. My arms and chest are about the same, my shoulders actually look bigger, yet my stomach hasn't been this skinny in a couple years since I left college. Usually if I were this skinny I would feel like crap and have to lose a lot of mass and strength, but my weight is pretty stable still (217-220)

It is tough for me to maintain mass without having a little layer on me, so it will be nice to see how this pans out as long as it continues as it has. So far this is exactly what I was going for. I still haven't lost all the fat I'm aiming to lose, but I do feel myself getting closer to my goal each day.

Had arms last night. Wasn't able to go to the gym so I kinda missed out on a really good arm workout, but I worked with what I have at home:

BB curls: 3 sets of 7 x narrow grip, 7x wide grip, 7x reverse grip @ 45 lbs
- superset with BB overhead tricep 3 sets of 30

DB French presses 3 x 6 @ 40 lbs

BB curls 3 x 5 @ 95 lbs

kick backs w/ 10 lbs 3 x 20 side grip
kick backs w/ 10 lbs 3 x 20 reverse grip
kick backs w/ 10 lbs 3 x 20 backwards grip
- superset w/ bb curls 3 x 10 normal grip and 3 x 10 reverse grip

I suprisingly got a pretty good workout despite not having heavier weight to work with, and I'm relatively sore today. Still, more of a maintenance workout than anything else.
 
You would surprised at what lowering the weight and increasing time under tension does for hypertrophy

Ya it definitely worked my arms in a way they aren't accustomed to so I suppose thats always a good thing.

I have shoulders tonight. Last week's shoulder session was pretty good so I'm excited to see what tonight holds.
 
Ok last night I had shoulders, I noticed on military press I was able to crank out a few extra reps each set without much difficulty. I did notice a little pinch in my bad shoulder toward the end of the workout, but nothing that lasted so I think it's good. Anyway here it was:

Military Press: 6 x10-12
Arnolds: 6 x 10-15 >superset w/ 2 sets of shrugs to failure
Clean and press: 6 x10
Lateral flyes: 6 x12-15 > superset burns following each set
Front raises: 6 x 12-15
seated Bent over rear delts: 4x12 > superset standing rear delts: 4x12
Heavy Shrugs: 4 x failure

I have to go easy on shoulders becuase I have a bad rotator cuff so I usually go higher reps and moderate to low weight. I can't really safely shoulder press 135 without a spotter and a rack.

This morning I weighed 214. I have been eating just as much but I've dropped 6 lbs in two days. It looks like its all from my belly though. I'm not dehydrated and I'm not looking smaller muscle-wise, so I guess it's ok. Part of me is worried that I dropped that much in two days, but my gut looks smaller so I guess I shouldn't complain.

It makes sense too... two days ago was week 2 of ostarine. They say it takes about two weeks for osta to kick in, and sure enough I've shed a few lbs of fat in just a couple days since I hit that two week mark. I may increase my calories a bit to avoid losing too much mass, still not sure how I feel about it...
 
Tonight was cardio. Just did calisthenics at home to burn some calories. I drank a bunch of protein and literallly had a couple small handfuls of carbs, figured I would see how my body looks in the morning with minimal carbs before bed time.
 
Weighed in at 213 this morning. I've lost 7 lbs in 4 day, and none of it appears to be muscle. I guess I has a little more belly fat than I had thought lol I'm liking the SARMs, giving me a good base to begin my transdermal cycle with in a few days.

I'm going to put a hold on the SARM cycle and then pick it up again after my PCT for the Transdermals. I guess I'll start a log to track these transdermals and pick up on this one later. I'll keep up on this one til I get my transderms though.

Tonight I just had cardio again, havent been able to make it into the gym but tomorrow is legs so I'll be hittin it hard then!
 
I think I may have got a SARM suspended in DMSO. I had never heard of this before, but my family has been complaining about my breath smelling really bad. My dad specifically said I smell like someone on DMSO, so I looked up the stuff and it is often used in in vitro/vivo drug research. This concerns me a little bit, since my research turned up possible toxocity on DMSO. Have you guys heard anything about SARMs being suspended in it before? If so, should I be concerned about this side effect I've been experiencing, or am I ok with the doses I'm ingesting even if it is the same stuff?
 
Weighed in at 213 this morning. I've lost 7 lbs in 4 day, and none of it appears to be muscle. I guess I has a little more belly fat than I had thought lol I'm liking the SARMs, giving me a good base to begin my transdermal cycle with in a few days.

I'm going to put a hold on the SARM cycle and then pick it up again after my PCT for the Transdermals. I guess I'll start a log to track these transdermals and pick up on this one later. I'll keep up on this one til I get my transderms though.

Tonight I just had cardio again, havent been able to make it into the gym but tomorrow is legs so I'll be hittin it hard then!

glad the results have been great for you so far on the stack.. keep us updated..im following for one .
 
Weighed in at 215 this morning. Looking leaner than ever. Legs ended being a great workout last night. I did the same as last week but threw in an extra six sets on leg press and two on curls/extensions. Feel great this morning for my chest workout I'll update on here afterward!
 
regarding the dmso ,
next time go with a supplier that at very least
uses one of various peg solvents instead .

the dmso breath is supposed to be like garlic ,i think .
and an easy way to test if dmso is in the solution even if
put on skin ,will taste in mouth pretty soon .

Should I be worried about toxicity? I read DMSO can be neuro toxic to some people but it seemed only to infants or organisms with developing brains. Still, made me a bit nervous...
