orange roughy

its also one of the best choices for bb cutting.

there are guys who eat a few pounds of it per day for months at a time with no problems but like everything there is risk i guess. i personally wouldn't hesitate to eat 3-5 lbs per day if it was only for a few months.

salmon and tilapia are ok but i think the orange roughy is better. i have never heard the 1 time in 6 months thing that sounds rediculous to me. i look at it this way. i know a few guys who swear by it. they do this every year. just like they juice and practice other unhealthy diet traits. but it had is pre contest prep benafits. there are plenty of people also that eat a wide variety of sea food several times per day their whole life. there are entire countries that do this. i understand that most of what they eat has less than half the mercury content of orange roughy but the 3 months out of the year vs. every day of your whole life has to mean something.

i think it all boils down to what works for you and how much risk over all are you willing to take. the vast majority of todays top athletes in sports like wresteling, bb'ing, and pl'ing are causing serous damage to their bodies. with extreme amounts of food, and drugs. it seems as if the only possible path to success is to cause the damage now during your climb then once you reach your personal best and start to go backwards it is time to try to save as many years of life as you can. even on an amature level the cruel reality is there.

this is the rout that i follow.

i see. i'm just worried. my buddy who was an olympic powerlifter a few years ago got really sick and ended up getting MS from complications of all the fish he was eating.

yep the chances of problems are definately there. if you are worried about it you probably shouldn't eat it.

Tilapia isnt supposed to be that great nutritionally. Mostly due to their depleted diets of fish poo at fish farms (yes they eat poo). They are actually part of the water filtering program at farms that produce bass, trout, and other game / food fish. Orange Roughy tastes fuckin awesome and kinda like snapper:) Thing with the mercury is that its a fairly long-lived fish and predatory. This leads to a bio-accumulation of mercury in the tissues. Try for the salmon which is great for grilling and sandwiches. I also managed to pick up a huge box of frozen farm raised catfish nuggets at walmart, most still had the skin on which was a bitch to remove. I skinned a pound while the oil was heating and fried up some and they were great, along with my giant sweet potato.

sounds tasty bro.
i bought some roughy now and figure i will buy some once every 2 months.
