i have a 2000 mustang AND IT RUNS LIKE COMPLETE SHIT
it will fall apart in less than 20,000 with moderate, but not meticulate treatment. the shift pattern is horrible, there was no thought put into the design of that car. i think you should wait and invest your money perhaps later in somehting that is actually *worth* it.

Get the GT or don't bother at all. The reason that the v6 has such low resale is because everyone knows that they are half assed in every way.

And yes there WAS a inline four cylinder Mustang back in 86'-93' something like that.

If you check the stats reliability is actually pretty god. Not the best but fair.

However the Lincoln Mark VIII is awesome for alot of other reasons that won't get your license suspended.

why not go with the V8, no offense but chicks by the V6. at the end of 2000 i bought a V8 loaded for 19600. shit half the cars on the road will pass you up, that"ll be embarrissing. to bad you dont live near me cause im thinking of selling it for about the same price.

my husband has a mustang and I HATE that car! He bought it brand new in 97 and it has been nothing but a peice of shit. And if you care about keeping your neck in one peice if you have an accident make sure you analyze the very poor and uncomforatble seat design. you cannot rest your head on the non-adjustable head rests and see the road properly at the same time.

paint is shit
engine looks and runs like crap
upholstery is cheap feeling
there's a reason the interest rate is 0% they are trying to give away those turds on wheels!

while the nissan maxima is not my favorite car, it is a MAJOR improvement over the peice of shit mustang.

you get your money's worth with a maxima. you owe it to yourself to at least test drive it.

i personally prefer the handling of european cars
(i now have a 2000 Jetta VR6- in my budget and is pretty fun to drive) WOHOOOOO!!!!!

Yup... I have the 2000 model. Found out a few days ago that they managed to squeeze 33 more horses into the 2002 model without touching the fuel economy. Not to mention the fact that I find my GLE more luxurious and comfortable than my mom's Lexus. =)
