the belt is not intendedto be used to for lower back back suport as many people think, it offers very little if any support, it is used to increase intra abdominal preasure giving a stabolizing effect. work your low back and abs and leave the belt in the bag unless you are doing 1-4 set squats or deads. the reason alot of people belive it helps suport the low back is because it forces proper form witch than eases the stress to the low back, it's amazing what proper from can do for you
