late 1800's pretty much through the 1970's no country in the world ha the industral capiblities the united states had. that is one of the many reason we have always won our wars. we could turn out 10 bombers per every one they could. however, that really isn't the case anymore.

it would have taken time to regear the factory for war production, but it would have happend and we would have won. no other country has be able to mobleize for war as fast as the US, this is another strength we have.

wars will never be fought like that again. we are seeing a new age of warfare.

oh, and yes we were isolationist, that is my whole point. we learned how stupid that kind of thinking is. now instead of waiting for the war to come to us, we fight them overseas before it reaches our land.

i would never hold a person responsible for wrongs of the past. all i ask is that we learn from them. i'm part german and i don't feel responsible for the wrongs of germany.

I don´t hate U.S or anything. I have been there and prob. will go there again as I very much enjoyed my stay. The only thing that pisses me off is that many Americans don't know that much about other countries and think that America is the only land worth living in and everything else is shit. I'm not saying all Americans are like that, but I notice this allot. I live in a small country in Europe, I don't think I would want to live anywhere else at the moment with all the shit going on in the world, we have a us base here and the army has helped save many lives here over the years and we are very grateful for that (not war but rescues at seas etc.) It´s very safe here for ex.: if there is a murder thats the top story of the week, there are maybe 5 murders per year here. the only thing I envy you of is the fina but anyway this is not meant to piss anyone off, only a heads up for those who think nothing compares to America, not everyone is plotting against you or trying to smuggle them self into your country. you cannot hold people of today responsible for actions of the past, but we CAN SAY they benefit from it. Trust me on this one.

Now when a country is built on such a past, how can it learn to survive by doing things "right". Our country knows nothing more than to take. Hell my ancestors were just allowed to the front of the bus in the fucking 60's. And granted some peoples ancestors came here in the early 1900's and probaly wouldn't even have owned a slave, but were able to do more than my ancestors who had been here. They could hide the ethnicity, but you can't hide skin color. A booming black town in oklahoma was destroyed by the united states armed forces around 1920, bombed to shit.
Any black movement for equality was shutdown with force.

The sooner people realize there has never ever been a government that was a freind to the common people the sooner we could obtain some kind of freedom. I don't care if its the muslims or are own, doors of hard working citizens are still getting kicked in by black booted thugs.

Linking drugs to terrorism, instead of gasoline and terrorism is just another step in the assault on my freedom and yours, wait and see. And you know most people will believe that shit. And the government can now hold you as long as they want without charging you.
