America is great for one reason. People can be the artist of their own lives. The wealth and success of a country is entirely based on how "free" the people are to become entrepeneurs. It has nothing to do with rescources, etc. Look at Hong Kong, it FLOURISHED because entrepeneurs were encouraged and allowed to form their own destiny.


I agree some laws that have been made have been a mistake. Drug laws are a mistake. They keep people from bieng the "artist" of their own lives if drugs is part of their plan. Which shouldn't be disallowed.


Point is, Germany and France, etc, are stagnant, and destined to failure because they make these grand "social" plans, in the best intentions, that freezes all progress. France and all of their labor laws that suffocates businessmen from hiring new people (Hence hte fact germany and france's unenployment is almost 20 fucking percent! US is 5% during a RECESSION). People dont seem to understand that there is no "Free healthcare". Only healthcare paid for by someone else.

Because of our freedom and indepentent spirits, heed the fact that our economy and drive has produced the following things:

ELECTRICITY, COMPUTERS (britian gets a little credit here as well), The fucking INTERNET, CARS, Mass production, the LIGHTBULB, TELEVISION!, FLIGHT,PLASTIC,STEEL, need I fucking go on!

Name just one EARTH SHATTERING thing france has produced.. or germany for that matter..europe is stagnant. It's a beautiful place with great history, but stagnant.


There is ONE way to judge what county is the most desirable..

Who has the most immigrants and fewest people leaving? America. It's that simple.
