OK guys i need your feedback my options are up!

i can not stop eating the wrong foods i know it sounds lame and easy to be dealt with but i cant stop putting stuff down my throaght, i can go about three days then BAM the stuffing frenzy begins .before you say try such and such let me tell you ive tried everyting under the sun, "willpower" the 6 balanced meals, phentermine eca ,nyc ,garcinia HIGH fat ,low fat diet 3500 calorie 1500 calorie the flax oil ala, fiber fiber supplements whats next ? shrink? dietitian? im not grossly fat either i just want to control what goes in my mouth thats all. anyone have any thoughts?

(im not a newbie either) my appetite to overfeed is crazy! i figure i get you guys opinion before i go on my own to get to the bottom of this

This is far too easy. :angel:

You want to "get to the bottome of this?" The only way to control what goes in your mouth is to..well...control what goes in your mouth. This is a simple discipline problem, nothing more. No diet in the world will work unless you stay on it. Here are some tips that will help, but ultimately, it's a matter of you eating either good food or crap. That's entirely up to you.

1. Do not grocery shop when hungry. You can't eat what's not available in the fridge or pantry.
2. Force yourself to stick to a diet for the first week. I promise it will get easier after that. It will become normal. Humans are creatures of habit; use that to your advantage!!
3. Stop eating like a pig. :)

That impulse will stay as long as you keep giving into it. We all get it. In scientific terms, and I might need Anthrax's help on this, it's called "hunger."

Once you stop giving into it, it will go away.
 
im sorry but that is a pretty pathetic excuse, everybody goes through this when dieting, gymtime is right "hunger", ofcourse you want to eat good foods and satisfy your stomach, but just think which feels better, eating that delicious food, or working to reach a long -term goal you want to achieve, if you really have desire you will achieve discipline as well. though also, you could try munching on some green veggies or diet coke, or drink alot of water when you get really hungry.

I've been through it myself, and still struggle with it every now and then. However, I'm beating it MYSELF. Once you realise you've got a problem, you're well on the way to fixing it. You know what to do. Just find the best way for you, personally, to do it. It takes some trial and error. You'll slip up along the way. But don't let that stop you for getting control over yourself and your eating habits.
 
Find another vice. Everytime you feel the urge to splurge, smoke some weed, chew some khat, put a little amphetamine on your tongue, go to a peep show, or maybe even come here and post a message about how you are about to eat something that will ruin your diet! Hey, that would work, post something here and let someone snap you out of it.

THANKS although i dont smoke bud i may give it a shot too see what happends, what is khat? what kind of amphetamine can i put on my toungue?

You can find khat if you go to some Somalian or Ethiopian neigborhood. What kind of amphetimine? Well, amphetamine is amphetamine. Speed is usually either methamphetamine or amphetamine. Amphetamine is cheaper. In fact, most "e" is amphetamine.

I wasn't really that serious when I mentioned that, but actually putting a bit of speed on your tongue would snap you out of it. However, you could get addicted, and it will cause insomnia. If you get cravings at night, this won't help you. Khat was PURELY a joke, as it will turn your teeth yellow. You could try (and I'm actually being serious) masturbation! Sounds fucked, but hey, you've tried everything else. Anything could work.

I'm really not making light of this.
 
as others have mentioned, it's a matter of will power.

Controlling your eating habits is "your" own problem. You have to deal with it by gaining control.

You say you are not grossly fat. What is your bf%. If you are already 10 - 15%, then you may just have a high metabolic rate and may not be eating enough to keep from going catabolic. What is your bf%? 1500 calories per day is way too low for active males and I assume you are active.

yea i work two jobs and hit the gym, its not my macronutrient breakdown cause i can go 4-5 k in CLEAN calories and still go to town on a half gallon ice cream, i think im neurologicly phucked up somewhere


btw im 16 % bf trying to get to 10
 
Try Crumcakes Ultimate diet for a couple weeks.
No carbs, no sugar, lots of protein, fats, veggies, water etc.

When you get away from carbs (esp starchy carbs) and sugar for a few weeks
you body should stop craving them. It may take some time, and you may need
a few cheat meals at first, to ease away from your cravings, but keep control.

If you really want to reach your goals only you can make it happen.
 
I have the same problem and that is why I am in the situation I am in now. I have lost alot of fat, but still have a lot to go.

Like everyone has said it is straight willpower. Also, if you are on a specific diet look into what you can eat to cure those cravings. I personally have a weak spot for Cheesecake. Being on a Keto diet it is impossible not to mention it is probably one of the worst foods someone can eat with all the fat and carbs. I got on the net and did some searches and found some very low carb cheesecake recipes and problem solved. I incorporate the cravings cals into my diet as well so I make sure not to over eat on any particular day.

Also, Plornive had a good idea with the busting a nut theory. It seems to take my mind off of food........either with someone or by yourself. I seem to get tired when I'm done as well. LOL
 
any thoughts on keto? for three months then switch to a zone type diet to maintain, i want to get to 170 then bulk up to 205-210 maybe go on a light cycle of deca and test to grow some rock
