Monstar-It takes 140 ibs of pressure to close the #1 gripper.I'd guess it takes about 30-40 ibs to close one of those cheap grippers you buy at a sporting goods store.The grippers from Ironmind are top quality.You'll see what I mean when you get it.

I am hoping that I wont have a problem closing the #1!! I bought a #1 and #2 and that book I was talking about... will probably come in within the next month..
