I was a paralegal. Starting Monday, I will be doing tech stuff.

I took this semester off from school. So, I dowloaded my first MCTS SQL 2005 course and taking advantage of Microsoft offering free courses.

Its weird. I was always the person in my group people came to when they had questions about our various databases that were SQL based. I didn't think it would become my 2nd career.

Cool. Did you run manual lathes and mills or any CNC? I did manual machine work for about 12 yrs. before operating and programming CNC equipment. Having done both, I kind of miss making things by hand and the physical part off it. Now, I'm mostly behind a computer screen working w/ CAD and CAM software. It's cool what it can do but damn I hate sitting most of the day not doing anything physical.

I learned to operate them manually first, and mostly did that, then after i was proficient at ProE and Solidworks design software i got a little into the CNC side but i've forgotten all of that for sure....CNC wasn't my thing....i helped a few guys on my senior design team project with it a bit, but it wasn't my niche for sure

I program toolpaths and draw 3D designs with Mastercam and Geomagic Studio 8.

Yeah, it's this year. I believe they're every 2 yrs. I've been twice before. Chicago is definately at a dif. pace than where I live. I live in a county of about 25,000 people. Alot faster but a cool place to visit when at the IMTS.

Inbreeding Exception Rule.

Parts of Kentucky, West Virginia, and the entire Salt Lake City Area must adhere to this rule. This prevents their kids from being born with flipper arms and spread-out eye sockets.

Hopefully soon i'll be teaching water aerobics to older ladies! I'm really excited...I've always wanted to teach a fitness class and they are in desperate need of someone to replace a moving teacher. I was surprised to find out that you don't have to be certified to teach where I live. I'm especially excited to put this down on my college applications because it shows them I have a personal interest in fitness. I want my college and scholarship apps. to be as personal as possible.

I plan to be an Accountant or something else in business when i'm older! I really like working with money, planning, and organizing!
