my wife went to the chiropractor the other day and had a series of tests and x-rays due to a possible dislocated hip from giving birth 5 months ago...
besides that, and having a totally fucked up body... the worst thing is they found that her spine dosnt go all the way down like it should and completely cover her spinal cord (forgot the technical term)... she was born this way and it was never noticed... but the worst part... she CANT DO HEAVY DEADLIFTS AND SQUATS becauae he says there is great potential for her to become paralyzed if she exerts too much force...
glad to know this so she dosnt get hurt worse... but damn, her deads were starting to get good...

not if im arround...

for 4 months she will be recieving corrective treatments 3 times a week... for this period of time im putting her gym membership on 'hold' because i want her to get the best recovery possible... she will be walking outdoors daily for excersise...

after that she can do light(er) squats and deads... i havent talked to the chiropractor yet, but i would assume reps with 95lbs would not be unreasonable...
she was pulling 205 for 5 a week ago...

I don't know about your insurance, or your location, but I have some pretty serious contacts at the Mayo Clinic and could help get her in there if needed. Just shoot me a PM if you find yourself needing to go that way.

No offense, and I hope she's OK, but why doesn't she see a real doctor? IMO, chiropractors have ulterior motives, they just want you to be utterly dependant on them. maybe get a second opinion???
