powerlifterjay......do you know how to weld?

i have a ARC welder in my garage.....its a long story but the guy who owns it isnt calling me back.

I wanna learn to weld but have never done it before........how hard would it be to teach myself?

im having trouble trying to find someone to help me learn

Thanks Jay,

I may seriously look into taking the florida bar exam.

Endpoint, I do know how to weld, I don't know if Jay does or not. Holler at me at [email protected] and let me know what kind of welder etc.. you have and I will try and talk you through it. My dad is a shop teacher and he taught me to weld, but I think with a little patience and guidance you could learn yourself.

Dude take the Florida bar. Florida is the mecca of powerlifting! Also fl is pretty cool too!

endpoint i dont know how to weld but it aint hard i would buy some scrap to experiment with. One of my training partners welded our hyper to gether. If brian can walk you through try it. Hold on to that peice and learn it. You can make everything CHEAP. You could build a power rack for about 20 bucks! Hell if you got good enough you could build a monolift!

You are right about how cheap you can build stuff. I have drawn up the design for a monolift that will attach to a power rack, and for the rack itself. I haven't built it yet, but I will post on the board and let everyone know how it turns out when I build it.
