Why or what causes night time hunger...come 8:30pm and later I really get hungry...i don't know what this is...anyone have any suggestions to conquer this or even know why this happens?
Boredom? Whenever I veg in front of the TV or have "down time" it is WAY too easy to convince yourself you are hungry.
Maybe try starting a hobby that uses your hands or keeps you busy. Even taking a bath or cleaning the house can help.
If it is TRUE hunger - I mean stomach growling hunger - then try drinking a liter of water first, then snack on something crunchy like celery. If it is sweet you want, then try sugar free jello and ff cool whip. Even drink a protein shake!
Could be habit or thirst.....a lot of people mistake thirst for hunger or your body has become "used" to eating at that time & just wants food.... If you're hungry then eat something!! Actually 8pm is when I eat dinner, usually....
