Newbie: How long should I train before I can use AS?

i think you or anyone for that matter should train long enough to learn proper technique in the major compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench, etc before juicing. also a person should train long enough to make sure he is serious about it and its not just a phase. The decision to use steroids should only come after extensive research is done by the user and blood tests/physicals are performed to ensure healthy bodily function.

As long as you're serious about it, a healthy adult male, and know how to properly eat and train(to some extent at least. we all get better every day at training and dieting, as no one has all the answers), id say go for it. start out with small doses, see if you can live with the side effects, if any, and go from there.
 
Well I workout at least twice a week usually tuesdays and thursdays for 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours. The first thing I do when I get to the gym is run the mile at speed 8.5 and it is now down to 7minutes 11 seconds. After I run I stretch for about 20 minutes, mainly on the legs and back then I follow up with about 45min to and hour of weight training.

My readings as of last month are : 175lbs, 17.6% Body Fat, 104/61 mmHg.
 
You need to reach your genetic potential naturally or as close as you can get to it ideally. Twice a week is probably not going to cut it with the weights. You need to see if you can increase the workouts in the gym to maximise your efforts.
 
I've been training only about 6 months, with focus on cardio and stretching. Whats the minimum I should go? And how long until I maximize my natural ability. I really want to start a low Anavar cycle but if you guys think I should wait I will, I'm not in any hurry, this is going to be a fun science experiement.

i dont believe in the approach that you should reach your genetic potential before starting aas. a person can put on size and strength for ten years or so without going down. i think you should just establish a firm base and make sure you love what you're doing. On the other hand, i agree that twice a week isnt gonna cut it at all. at the minimum i would go three days a week and hit those body parts hard. or four days a week, spreading the body parts out slightly. but two i just dont like.

if you're focused on cardio and stretching, then why do you care about using steroids? Steroids is for building muscle fast, and will compromise your felxibility anyway.
