Thats why you see most peeps doing bent over rows almost standing vert.
If your gym has mirrors use them. It helps a lot to actually see what you are doing.
When I do my rows my feet are much wider then my shoulders. And my knees are very bent.
So, when I am reaching down for the bar my back is parallel to the floor. For me this makes easy to hold that position. If I have to lean down to put that weight back on the floor I know I missed that rep.
