Nelson...Whats your view on Green Tea extract as a fat burner.

Omega: Just curious. What did you think was so great about that study? Or does it matter?

Does anybody want to bet that "Z" is Fon"Z".

Thermogenics effect the nervous system and anything that aggravates the nervous system is catabolc

excellent observation. Half of the performance gain people get from taking stims is a huge elevation in cortisol. part of the SNS stress response. Cortisol is the king of the muscle eating hormones but it makes you fly on the bike via gluconogenesis.. Stims are not anti catabolic all the time.

peeps who tried clen for the first time on this board who had hypercortisol issues to begin with went over the top and had full on cortisol overload attacks for the first time in years.. and clen is anti catabolic in bovine arena, just not humans.

Also, caffeine spares carbohydrates which also works against your fat burning goals. That's why ZIP is caffeine free. Again, it would have been very easy to load it with caffeine and have everybody jacked up. But that's not the way I work.

I thought that one of the reasons caffeine was good to take before training was because it does spare carbohydrates which will enable your body to target fat more as an energy source.

Carbs are always the first energy source. You need to deplete carbs to a degree in order to burn fat. But caffeine overrides the need to utilize carbs since it aggravates the CNS thus providing the "energy."

Not to beat this death and it just may seem trivial but it seems like your saying that the energy is provided by the CNS. But where does the CNS get this energy? Glucose? Fatty acids? Chi?

Nelson

from my experince green tea in the higher purity ranges actually increases thermogensis

the stuff in liporexin or one of Af products

you can literally feel that its wokingin time of course and through proper diet

so i guess it a matter of trying thing out :)

some of the things Z posted just make it easier to believe what I know to be true

the difference between normal green tea, found in most supps and the higher purity stuff is literally night and day

does that makes sense?

also this is an opportunity for us to see whata great site this

How can you tell if you've got the good stuff? What should I be looking for. The one I use now is from Beyond-A-Century.com
