I agree, I've taken potshots when it was probably not called for and did not benefit the discussion at hand.
But you can't just let a few people manipulate the entire tone of the board.
Many noobs that are easily influenced latch on to info. and don't always second guess it.
I was a noob once and took some peoples posts as the Bible.
It's stupid but it happens.
I think everybody needs to be a little more accepting of others opinions and views on differant issues.
I personally try to keep an open mind to any new idea, protocal, view or whatever comes along.
I just feel that this is emphasized by certain people but they personally do not want to except this type of thought.

I agree with this. I think what happens is some guys feel that the boards are overrun with ppl pushing certain products and they want to keep ppl from gettin the wrong stuff crammed down their throats. I think it's a noble end but they go about it the wrong way sometimes. Nobody has a prob with putting your opinion up and respectfully posting your disagreement. But its the unintelligible bashing that brings the board down. There's no reason we can't all have intelligent dialogue on here and disagree without the bashing.
