Needle Size

I have been pinning in my delts with a 23 gauge 1", but I've heard 25 gauges feel so much smoother, with less PIP. I can get any size I want. Do you all think a 25 gauge 5/8" would be fine, or should I stick with the 1"?
Has anyone had any oil leak with a 5/8"? I've never lost anything with a 1", and I'd like to try 5/8", but instead if leaving it to chance, I'd rather ask before I invest.

You can't z track in the delts unless you have someone help you, that is if you have problems with leakage, but 25 and 23 won't change a whole lot in the pain area if you ask me, plus you don't really get much pip from the pin itself.

The needle itself, especially between 23g and 25g, won't deliver a really noticeable difference in injection pain. The thing that causes pain when you use those sized needles is the actual compound itself or the amount of compound you pin. If you pin 3ml of anything into your delts, then you are going to have ... no doubt.

23g 1" needles are fine ... plus, if you pin heavier compounds (like Enan, Cyp, Deca) it is easier to actually inject the compound using a 23g than it would be using a 25g.

Yeah with oils 25g goes pretty slow and needs quite a bit of pressure. Needle can move around a bit while doing it causing more pain than if you just used a 23g to begin with.

Another thing I've heard is that if you bleed after you might have a bit more pain bc you probably nicked something, but I've had both bleeders and non and felt either no pain or some so it's really just one of those things us users have to deal with. Proper procedure with good gear and the best you could hope for is nothing more serious than a little pain.

23 and 25..depends on the oil
