Need Help Losing lbs & Body Fat QUICK!! PLS HELP!!

Very new to the site.
Currently 190lbs,24%body fat,5'10 & 36yrsold
My goal is 170 w/ under 10% body fat.
I need advice & direction to get me there asap. I was there before & completely ripped & fell off a bit (a lot). I've never had to lose weight until now so I don't know the most effective way to do so.

Step one: Forget arbitrary goals and numbers. Instead, work toward getting leaner than you are right now.

Atep two: Eat less

Step three: Train more

Step Four. Use a stim before each workout for an extra boost, but no other time. Otherwise your metabolism will just get slower. Omega's Lipoflame is a good one.

Step five: Check out ZIP from Protein Factory Inc. to allow the tyroid to burn more fat.

Step six: Live a more active lifestyle. Ride a bike. Walk instead of drive.

And that's pretty much it It ain't sexy but it's what works. It has nothing to do with steroids.
 
First off Welcome to EF... You came to the right place... first off how is your diet? workout history? any past cycles?
My history is weight training serious for 4-5years & quit for the last 3, focused on golf but in the meantime got lazy & developed lazy habits. I'm not a big eater & I don't drink at all but again, laziness & bad eating habits led me to more inactivity & less to no training at all. One thing to keep in mind is that I don't do well w/ stimulants or thermogenic like substances. very sensitive.
Recently, I've been weight training a little but no serious schedule or anything. I'm looking for a sure fire contest like training & diet regimen to reach my goal of 170-175 w <10%bf absolute shreddedness

x2... u in the wrong section lookin for help.. most of your answers would be change of diet and exercise habits
 
I recommend you take a look at some of the articles at Stronglifts.com. Mehdi has put together a nice site other there, with a lot of info that will get you on the right track. If you're like most people, you'll do better if you know why you're doing what you're doing, as opposed to blindly following recommendations.

The most important factor is making sure you are in a caloric deficit when trying to lose weight. If you make sure you are doing this, then the weight will come off.
 
wow, really?? I reached 216 5'9" I'm holding at 204 for the past 8 months now after training and growing muscle, best estimate i lost 20 lbs of fat and gained a lot of muscle..

Body composition is what should be your goal, or rather those were and are my goals..

Keep the faith..

and that was not on a caloric deficit diet..
 
No mystery, I know how to train & I've done it for years, just looking for some training & diet advice/ routines for quicker sure fire results.
