If so, then you need carbs afterward.
Losing fat is more about calories in-calories out, it isn't about whether or not you eat carbs/fat/protein.
Remember that for many, fat is still the 'baddie' as far as dieting goes, and it has been what everyone thought was exclusively responsible for people being fat.
Now it is carbs, same deal.
Just like fats, not all carbs are created equally.

ive got a 6 pack, but i really really want to cut up those lower abs.
so heres what ive been doing - lifting 3 days a week, with am empty stomach cardio
4 days a week, two daily cardio sessions
diet is all dialed in, went from 18+% body fat to 10% maybe lower on a good day![]()
im on the sauce, with plenty of protein to minimize muscle loss
my pm cardio sesh is late in the pm, so ill just TRY and have a protein shake, electroites, and some fruit, but damn i am having some serious carb hungers after that second cardio sesh and i mean bad bad carbs, the crunchy kind

'i thought it was the caffeine in the tea that was the appetite supressant, but if the decaff works for you - ill have to give it a go.SouthernLord said:Try drinking green tea or take green tea extract through out the day. I have a cup or two between each meal. I brew flavored decaff and add powder green tea extract to jack up the potency. 1 teaspoon of the extract is close to 200mgs of caffeine, so it will jack you up. i stick to straight decaff in the pm, so I don't stare at the ceiling all night lol. This has helped me a lot.
