*Bibby, Kings hope to climb back to .500*

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Mike Bibby and the Sacramento
Kings hope to get back to the .500 mark for the first time in
over three months when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on
Friday.
The Kings owned an 18-26 record on January 30 and were in danger
of missing the postseason for the first time since the 1997-98
campaign.
But Sacramento has reeled off wins in 12 of its last 17 contests
and can get back to the .500 mark for the first time since
November 29 with a victory on Friday.
Bibby scored 36 points Wednesday as the Kings posted a 123-116
triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Kenny Thomas and former Grizzlie Bonzi Wells added 19 points
apiece for Sacramento, which trails the Los Angeles Lakers
(32-30) by 1 1/2 games for eighth place in the Western
Conference.
The Kings hope to continue their torrid pace Friday against a
Grizzlies squad which has won four of its last five.
Pau Gasol collected 21 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists for
his first career triple-double as Memphis rolled to a 99-74
triumph over Seattle on Wednesday.
Jake Tsakalidis had 17 points and 15 rebounds while former King
Bobby Jackson chipped in 15 off the bench for the Grizzlies, who
limited the SuperSonics to just 34 percent shooting.
