Has anyone ever used this product?? I've read a couple of reviews and they rate it highly. Apparently there are 6.5 gms of fat per serving though, that seems alot to me? Any comments would be appreciated.
 
All say Nlarge is so good, I buyed it and found it horrible, it also gave me the shits, try Multipower, it's a good German brand also available in the USA, it gives you 900 calories, with 4gr of fat and 70 gr of Protein per serving, it's wonderful
 
I believe Nlarge is quite possibly one of the best weight gainers out there. Definitely check it out.

YellowBomber- I bet you used a lowfat or skim milk in addition to this shake. Since you are trying to gaine weight with this product, it would be acceptable to use a whole milk. This should eliminate the "shits" problem.


And I don't know about the german version, but from what i remember the american version has 50 gr of protein
 
I have used N-Large 2 by Prolab for a while and love it. It tastes good with Milk or Water and is pretty cheap. A great post workout drink.

6.5 grams isn't alot, but compared to other weight gain powders it is. Since most weight gain powders have 0.5-2 grams per 1000 calories. Why would you want it to be any lower?

Besides that, I think N-2 large is just protein and glucose,same thing you can get at protein factory, probably alot cheaper.

I'm trying to keep my BF to a minimum, hence me watching how much fat I take in. Does bulking automatically mean that my BF will increase? Can you bulk and just gain lean mass?
 
I have heard both good and bad. Don't worry about the 6.5g of Fat....that's about avg. Most of the big weight gainers contain anywhere from 4 to 8g of fat per servings.

If Lee Priest is using it....it must be good.
 
Hey Disco , give it a try, and look yourselves at the mirror if you notice more Bf, take less servings
 
look, Weight Gainers are meant to gain weight, that's something you put a bit of bodyfat, if you want lean weight use protein alone.
You've to establish you caloric rate, let's say you need 2500 calories a day to maintain, try to add 300-400 calories and see what happens. You can do this either taking 3 servings of a good protein brand (each serving 20-22gr of protein and about 100 calories) or by taking a meal supplement as EAS Myoplex or Nlarge2, if you have to take let's say 4 scoops=500 calories, use only 3 and see what happens, if you maintain, put 1 scoop more, till you see you're gaining about 1 max 2 pounds week, this will be lean mass

Yea right!!!!!! Lee Priest doesn't use this shit, whatever supplements the company sends him he probably feeds it to his dog or fish.

If you want to gain lean mass, especially if your the type that puts on fat very easily, sticking to low GI foods, and avoiding foods like bread or carb powders(except post workout) while still keeping calories high and protein high, and a moderate amount of fat, it should help.

I really think that even some low GI foods are awful. I'm trying to get myself away from wheat bread. Especially without supplements I think the only foods that are cool are oats,vegetables,peanut butter, and stuff like that, but bread is just horrible, I've been eating this shit thinking its good because it has 3 grams of fiber per slice, but think again.

I love the N Large 2. I have been taking it for a couple of months now and put on 10 pounds. Some of the weight is fat however my muscles look fuller. You can order a 10 pound container over the net pretty cheap. It is by far the best tasting protein/weight gainer product I have ever tried and I have tried several. It does not give my stomach any problems whatsoever and I have a bad stomach.

How much of that 10lb would you say is fat? Are you taking the full 4 scoop per serving? If so, how many shakes do you have per day?

Disco, buy Nlarge2 if tyou want but the best for oyu is FOOD, instead buy steaks,thuna,milk and eggs and EAT EAT EAT and yoiu'll grow
 
Cheers Yellowbomber - this growing costs shit loads though!! I'm looking for the cheapest option!! I think I'll stack up on my complex carbs though, maybe that will help. My protein intake is quite high anyway.
 
Disco, it really depends from day to day. Normally first thing in the morning I would use 2-3 scoops instead of the four. If it is a training day then I will have another serving of 2-3 scoops about 45 minutes after training. (I usally train around 4:00pm) If I am still hungary I will have another shake of 2-3 scoops an hour before bed. On non training days I have one in the morning and one before bed. As far as how much of the weight I gaines is fat and muscle, I really don't know. All I can say is my muscles look a little bigger and I am stronger. However, and I am being truthful I did add some weight to my stomach, probably the shake I have before I go to bed does that. However if your goal is to gain weight then try it. After you hvae gaines say 10 pounds then go on a fat burner or use some cutting gel and see what happens. Everyone is different and you really have to ry it for yourself and see what works for you.
 
ANYWAY, TRY IT and if you put to much fat, who cares, become bigger and when you diet down you'll discover lots of new muscle
