link or explaination of the diet?
lol, sorry, i havent looked it up yet was in a rush and wanted to see real quick if any one had any info. Some info is on the website but i think you have to buy the book to get the full story. i'll see what i can find.

Here is a basic overview of the diet- Just a common sense way of eating in my opinion

The Abs diet is a simple plan built around 12 key nutrient packed foods. When these foods are moved to the front of your diet they will give you all the vitamins, minerals, and fiber you need to maintain optimum health. These foods will also help trigger muscle growth and firing up your body’s natural fat burners. The foods in this diet have been chosen for there simplicity and most important there nutritional benefit. The main guidelines behind this diet consist of the power 12 foods. Which consist of almonds and other nuts, Beans and legumes, spinach and other green leafy vegetables, Dairy (fat-free or low fat milk, yogurt, and cheese.) instant oatmeal, eggs, turkey and other lean meats, all natural peanut butter, olive oil, whole grain breads and cereals, whey protein powder, raspberries and other berries. The other guidelines of this diet include the following, eating six meals a day, and regular exercise. The main philosophy behind this diet is eating more of the proper foods that promote fat burning, and also give you all of the necessary nutrients. This diet will also incorporate regular weight training and cardiovascular training into the plan. The reason for this, burning extra calories and by adding resistance training you will add more lean body mass and burn more calories naturally. This diet by know means is a quick fix diet; the diet is built on solid nutritional facts and exercise.

Here is a overview of there workout plan-

The philosophy behind the abs diet workout is simple, you focus on building more lean body mass. For every pound of lean body mass the body creates, you will be able to burn an extra fifty calories a day by do nothing at all. This workout emphasizes the larger muscle groups of your body, chest, back, and legs. In one workout a week you will give extra attention to your legs. The philosophy behind this is simply put, most of your body’s muscle is found below the waist, legs! By working the largest muscle group in the body you will be able to put on muscle much quicker and easier. Also by working out the largest muscle group in your body it will do more than just build muscle fast, it will release large amounts of growth hormone into the body. By releasing growth hormone into the body it will also stimulate muscle growth in the entire body. A Norwegian study, men who focused on lower body work gained more upper-body strength than did those who emphasized upper body exercises in there workouts. The abs diet workout plan follows a circuit training style. Circuit training, in circuit training you will perform one set of an exercise and immediately move to the next exercise, with just 30 seconds of rest. By using the circuit training method you will able to alternate between body parts, and you will keep your body in constant motion. By doing this method you will also be able to perform exercises without back to back without rest. In the first two weeks you will complete the circuit training twice. After two weeks you will be able to increase your workout to three circuits. The abs diet workout also gives you the option of adding what is called HIIT training into your routine in the weeks to follow. HIIT, stand for high intensity interval training. This is the cardiovascular program of the abs diet workout plan.

Stats are 6'0 210, prob around 12%. My goals as of now are to get cholesterol in check along with improving BP. The reason im inquiring about it is bc she(dr) recommended it. I basically need to get "healthier" heart wise.

No problem bro hope some of it helps you out, its just more of a common sense thing in my eyes, you can read the book in a night easy too. When you figure out what your diet is going to look like post it back up and go from there.
