My Diet (help pls!)

raze

New member
i have just changed my diet to steak/chicken and vegetables, i eat that as a meal 5- 6 times a day, i drink plenty of water and have taken on this diet since friday 11/11. i am trying to bulk up as quickly as possible. today just as i walked through my front door after work i became light headed and dizzy. i opened a can of tinned mangoes and after consuming the mangoes i started to feel better.

1)do you guys think that this little dizzy spell was because of my diet? (not enough sugar?)
2)is there any problem with making my 6 meals a day steak/chicken + vegetables?

i take flaxseed oil (1000mg 2 x a day), multi b tablet, b5 (250mg) and centrum as supplements!

any advice would be appreciated!

have had the same problem many a times when trying the atkins diet...
my view on it is either lack of energy or sugar... it was a few seconds that i felt like that and just like you it was when walking through a door way/.

If you're looking to bulk quickly, cutting carbs is not the best idea. Essentially, by eating only vegetables for carbs, you're consuming only a marginal amount of carbs (and calories). Although vegetables are mostly carbs (and good low-glycemic ones), it is very difficult to consume "enough" of them to supplement any kind of exercise routine. Adding fruits and whole wheat products shouldn't throw off your goal. They will also allow you to maintain a reasonable blood sugar level if included in at least 3 of your 5/6 meals/day.
