Hope this don't turn out to be too long. I'm 54, first picked up weights when I was 12. I'm your classic ectomorph so mass was nearly impossible. I joined the Marines. I had subscriptions to every muscle mag out there and set my alarm for 2AM Sunday morning to watch Flex Workout with Boyer Coe and Tanya Knight. Yes I'm old. I gravitated to Dan Duchain and Mike Mentzer. I joined at 155lbs and got out at 233. I overcame my body type by first educating myself and not rushing into gear. When I did I was prepared. The original Org Sust 250 preloads, Anadrol and Finajet....100 if I remember right. I didn't have a grip on nutrition yet so the results of excessive sodium blew me up a bit. But after some 20 cycles give or take, that's been the only sides I've ever had. Fkn sodium. My last bit of gear was 6 years ago. Since I've had covid that almost killed me twice. A vaccine that gave me blood clots, a head on car crash that gives me limited flexibility in my left ankle, legal issues and the financial downfall that comes from all of that.

Tomorrow I'll get some supplies and a gym membership. I'll have more to report then. make sure on the gym membership you scope out the place good. don't get a place that is too packed during the time you usually workout. usually 5-7 some gyms are way too jammed you won't be able to train

Alright fellas. Today I dropped 260 bucks at Walmart and 50 at the local gym. My nutrition is going to be a little old school for a bit but I can get my numbers. Tomorrow I'll be able to post that from AM to PM. But today. It's been 2 years since I've been in this gym and put together a workout. It went like this:

Inclined Smith Press 3 x 10-12
Cyber Chest Press 3 x 10-12
Crossovers 3 x 10-12

Straight bar Skull Crushers 3 x 10-12
Short bar reverse grip push downs 3 x max
Cable kickbacks 3 x max

So, my arm strength is shit. My ectomorphishness is long tie-ins with upper arms and of course fn calves, so it'll be a few weeks before my tris aren't sabotaging my press work.

Had some creatine ill go home start in on my protein and have yogurt. I have 2 dozen eggs to peel when i get home. An old friend who is 65 and built like Frank Zane was here and said "welcome home." I dig that.

Alright fellas. Today I dropped 260 bucks at Walmart and 50 at the local gym. My nutrition is going to be a little old school for a bit but I can get my numbers. 3 hardboiled eggs, ham steak, banana, 8oz of 2% milk
Creatine

Gotta good stretch and warm with some ext.s and hammy curles then:
Smith Squats 3x8 (I like squating in the Smith. I get more foot placement variations)
Leg press 3x12
Superset ext/curls 3×12

I just wiped out a large dominoes thin crust extravaganza so I'll have a yogurt and a shake the rest of the day.

I meant to get before pics today, but didn't take my phone in.
Tomorrow will be day off. I've always liked a 2 on 1 off schedule.

I said I'd take today off, but honestly I wanted to get one pass, top to bottom done as fast as possible so I just did a shoulder/back, rarely if ever have I done that. So I've busted the rust
off everything. I'll be dialed back in by this time next month. I'd be open to trt+++ sponsorship in the future 🙂

No sir. Took yesterday off. Ive got my daily calories up between 2400 and 3000 a day with protien between 175 and 210. Definitely need to make some adjustments there.That thin crust pizza the other day skewed the numbers some. Putting my protein and creatine in water will help. Right now all calories are good calories. I did notice something today. Chest/tris. Doing single cable pushdowns/kickbacks. I reached back and stabilized my arm with my off hand and I felt all three heads of my triceps firing and saw a legitimate pump.

3 more weeks and I'll be over 230 otc and my nutritional table squared and completely free of soreness and then advanced trt will be needed.

Brothers I got me a dose of a summer cold. I think part of it is probably the last 3 weeks of significantly different work load on my body. It looks like 3 on 1 off is where I'm at right now, which is fine. Probably wouldn't hurt me at my age to add some immunity support for a bit. Having to force feed a bit today.

Man fellas I just had a helluva summer sinus and chest congestion situation. I'm still shaking it off. I took an extra day off to get functional. Still hacking shit up out of my chest. I know it's got a lot to do with age and hitting it hard, putting stress on my body, aaanddd enough of that.

Pretty much the same routine. Cut reps down on the presses today added some weight in the 5-7 range
I'm getting firm. Starting to recognize my upper body if I squint a little. Kept my calories up, pretty clean. I'm going to baby step my gear. Definitely longE T. I'd love to come out swinging with Pharmaqo's XXX on the front end but this bout of chest/sinus has me thinking Var50 might be wiser. I'll be on trt levels of T for the long haul starting pretty f'n soon.

By any means is how i look at it, it doesn't have to be pretty or fancy as long as you get the nutrition in.
 
What sucks is when I cough hard enough to get the shit up I get a splitting headache on the right side of my head that lasts a minute or two. I can get my calories, I can push through workouts. I googlef it. It's a primary coughing headache due to a sinus infection. I get the occasional Chronic Sinusitis flare up. Burn pit exposure back in the day. It's just a thing. I've had it before.

I'm back brother. It took the entire bottle of antibiotics. But I kept the food and supps up. I'm a little sluggish but I picked up where I left off. I didn't lose weight and mightve been a bit stronger. I didn't have to miss work. Had a respectable shoulders tris today.

My support muscles aren't as much of a hindrance. I get paid Friday so I think I'll place a small order. Today wad a solid chest tris workout.
