My Body Alteration

Starting Monday Dec 30 - I am going on the New Years diet. I thought I'd journal my process here. As you can tell I am a new member - I have really enjoyed the site (and being a platnium member so far too!). Here are my current stats:

Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 254.4 lbs
Bodyfat %: A whopping 32.0%

A little history last January I weighed in at 270 lbs. I went down to about 250lbs from there and have stayed at 254 for about the last 6 months. I lifted weights on and off over the last year - with varying success.

My plan for this January? Body-for-Life... That's right 84 days of Bill Phillips hell. Here are the supplements I will be taking:

5g of Creatine a day (Pro Labs)
2 GNC Mega Man vitamins a day
1,000 mg of Vit C a day
400 mg of ALA a day (using mainly for its anti-oxident properties)
At least one protein shake a day (Optimum - Whey)

That's pretty much about it, I have been experimenting with 5-HTP lately to see how it suppresses appetite. Have not really noticed an appetite suppresion as much as some weird ass dreams last night.

Any suggestions. I'll keep you posted on my success.

Looks good. What about an eca or nyc based stack? That's if you want to use these supplements. Some people don't react well to it but there are still ephedrine free supplements out there.

Thanks Mike. I usually don't handle an ECA stack very well. They usually give me the shakes. I have tried Xenadriene EFX with little to no success. But may give it another shot once I really get in to the progam. Thanks for the reply.

:D
The BFL program is coming a long greatly. New Years through my workouts off a little last week - but I stuck to the nutrition goals, and the pounds have started coming off. 251 on Saturday morning. The upper body workouts are killer on the Body for Life plan - my muscles are completely exhausted after one of the workouts. Today will be my first lower body workout on the program. But so far...so good.
