You say that you are 16 years old. You have been working out for 3 months or something like that. You have never squatted up until now and you say that you can squat 225 for 2 times 8 and 315 for 4. I do not believe that. Post some pics. If you are so "wealthy" I am sure you have at least a webcam. Your posts on here don't show much knowledge. And you told me on AOL that you wish your 17 inch calves would shrink becuase they are just "too damn big." My calves are a little over 17 and yeah, they are somewhat wide, but certainly nothing to brag about, at all.

Post some pics.
 
ive been going to the gym since april, i always did calf raises and leg press, and i play soccer but i dunno if that has anything to with it, but it wasn't 315, i didn't do it on the squat rack, i used the huge red machine, was scared to use the squat rack.
So it was only 180, then 270 for 4. The bar weights nothing.

and garz, yeah 17" but mostly fat, and i refuse to post pics for personal reasons so sucks for you
 
Its good you clarified that. The huge red machine is most likely called a hack squat. What you did on there isn't bad for the first time. But you tried to make everyone believe it was the barbell squat. There is a HUGE difference. Put 225 on the barbell squat and see what you can do. Don't try to bs man.... Sorry this isn't a flame. But just don't bs people.

why the fuck are you deadlifting the day after a squat.
they work pretty much the same muscles.

people keep on telling me its an upperback exercise.

It works nearly everysingle lower body muscle (the same as a squat) plus a few more like arms and traps. your back and glutes would be wasted from the squats......so why are you doing another lowerback/glute exercise.

ps i dont appreciate people lying about how much they lift.

you should come down to australia in a couple months time......you would win everysingle powerlifting title for your age and the age group above that.

You would be competing against kids who have been training for years.

I am a firm believer that you cant build a heavysquat from leg presses. Your back would have crumbled under that weight.

i call bullshit........childish yes, but lying is childish as well.
 
Yeah It woulnd't be a good idea to deadlift the next day, not if you'd do anything under 5 reps. I would take it light and easy for deads. Last time I did deads I was doing a series of triples and decided to quit deadlifting for a while. Its not worth the pain. If the owner would buy a weight jack and some bumper plates my back would be just fine.
