Id fire you.

LOL @ not knowing the difference between state-controlled and privately-controlled entities.

That's part of what's wrong with this country. People don't understand the difference between the government and private sector.

you are reaching.

FYI Mitch Im calling the head of this car dealership this morning to try and steal some of his money.

Just made me think of you. :)

you are reaching.

Probably the most ironic thing Ive read on here since plunkey accused DB of grasping at straws to support a political argument.

Ok.

Except that its not that I dont agree - its that you dont understand some of the protections afforded to private companies.

You do know that, to all new employees, AF distributes a "Look Book" which details - specifically - what they can and cannot wear. A hijab is not one of them.

Explain how the government hasnt come in and shut down the entire organization, seeing as how they have been doing this for 10+ years.

What protections are you talking about that I don't understand? Because I also quoted earlier that the EEOC laws and guidelines do, in fact, apply to private companies. You haven't told me yet about these protections afforded private companies against the rules that, as stated, apply to them.

Also, explain - if what theyre doing is so illegal - how the only dress code policy suit the company has lost was the one that required their employees to specifically purchase AF clothing.

Ooo a subject change. Cool.

Tell me where I argued that Abercrombie wasn't allowed to have a dress code, please? I believe I've only argued it illegal for them to fire someone over a religious clothing item. I've never argued they don't have the right to have a dress code.

Its not a subject change - it supports my point. A circle of life kind of thing. They are all connected.
