muscle milk?????????

I would suggest a great alternative to muscle milk. It's called Micellar milk by Nature's Best. Nutrition wise it's way better and also tastes better IMO b/c it's not as thick. It has 220 cal., 40g pro., 2g fat(1.5 sat.), and 12 carbs.

i love muscle milk. i love muscles and i love milk so its a win win. but yea i have a tub of muscle milk and then a fridge full of the RTD's. Thank you mommy and daddy

muscle milk is the best ...i have the mint chocolate chip powder.........i dont like the already made drinks tho u can get in gnc and other health stores

In almost every thread i read, its all about people trying to
advertise thier own shit, cant take any advice on this site
seriously anymore???

I'd like to know whats wrong with ON? Cheap decent source of whey, taste's alright, mixes easy.

There are differences in protein. Do you know why everybody used to use soy? BECAUSE IT"S CHEAP! Soy is an incomplete plant protein without all the essential aminos in proper ratio. What that means is out of the 20 grams you ingest, you're really only getting only 6-7 grams of useable.

Next up is whey concentrate. (The stuff used in most powders and MPR's). It has a lower percentage of usable protein than other forms such as whey isolate or cross filtered whey or even casien. Once again, it's cheaper. Protein Factory sells it for $5 and the isolate cost $10 per pound.

Manufacturers know that most people don't look into this stuff. That's why they use concentrate. It says "whey" and it contains so many grams and people think it's good. It's the stuff that they use in animal feed and processed cheese and deserts as a binder. It's the stuff they used to throw away when making fine cheese.

Organic whole egg is more expensive $12. And Plasma Serum is $43!!! BIG BLAST contains no concentrate. It's isolate, whole egg and plasma serum. That makes it a superior product in terms of potential muscle building.

Now if none of this doesn't matter to you, just buy soy or whey concentrate in bulk and save yourself a lot of money. But don't say there's no difference just because something mixes easily and tastes okay.

If you eat a reasonably balanced diet, whether you use ON or some protein factory protein the difference will be minimal.

Real food is best. Regular cheap whey like ON works well enough.

I have used most all of the different types of protein powder and I cannot see any difference in results obtained.

Sure, every protein has a different BV, but if you eat at least 3 real food meals a day that have good quality animal protein, then whatever whey you take in will work fine, especially if mixed with milk which imho, is superior for muscle building over whey.

I like whey for inbetween meals with milk, and after a workout. I've been using whey products on and off for 13 years so I have some clue what I am talking about.

Why not say that you don't like concentrate instead of making sweeping statements like ON is crap. Alot of people use it and like it and if most of your protein is coming from whole food than it doesn't really make that much of a differance.
