MrsPuddlesFL, so you are still...

Sorry MrsP.....I have heard this before, but I also know it levels off pretty quickly from what I have witnessed in friends. It is kinda like a detox....

And as long as you are angry and do something constructive with it -- then good use of the anger energy. Running on the treadmill is far better than running for a pack of smokes or running towards an ice cream sundae.

I know you will do it -- and I know this setback will be temporary. There ain't nothing the little powerhouse called MrsPuddlesFl cannot overcome.

Well...I've caved and had a few smokes, but I'm not doing bad. I was talking to a friend who is in the homeopathic/wholistic medical profession and she says that most often when the addiction is as bad as it's been for me, there's a vitamin deficiency. I'm gonna work with her after surgery.

I met with the anestesologist on Thurs. and I need to take the tongue jewelry out for the operation. He says if it breaks or opens up, a piece can get lodged in the lung and there's no way to fish it out, so better safe than sorry. Grrrrrrr! It'll be a good 6 or 7 hours before it can be put back in, my tongue may be a bit swollen from the anestessia tubes, so I'm hoping it doesn't close up since it'll only be 3 weeks since it was done.

Good luck on your surgery, Puddles! I'm cheering for you. i want to get a lift so bad...have since I was 16, just like you. I can't wait to hear how it goes, how your implants look/feel, etc.

I'm sorry to hear about the battle to quit smoking being so tough. I know you'll stick it out and get through it.

I remember both of my parents quit by first keeping a journal of how many cigarettes they smoked each day, and then each day they'd smoke one less than the day before, until they were down to one. It worked really well, neither of them ever "relapsed." I don't know if that's an option for you this close to surgery, but I thought I'd share it just in case.

good luck today puddles!!! its my wedding anniversary, so i'll never forget your twins' birthday from this day on!!! :)
