Why is it that with 500mg of ALA before each meal I stay in ketosis all day when I eat 100-200g of carbs each day? Is this the same as getting into ketosis with the proper fat/protein ratios? I know ala forces the nutrients to the muslces but to me this all seems too simple. There has to be catch. Is all of the glycogen just pushed the muscle and gone. If so wouldn't this be the optimal way to diet because those calories are essentially gone?
