I motivate myself before i get to the gym. If i haven't done it beofre i've started my workout, it's all over.
I will start thinking about my workout about half an hour before i get to the gym, and just go through the exercises, sets and reps in my mind and what i want to achieve that day. Having played various competitive sports for a number of years, i learned to motivate myself and psyche myself up before a game. Now i translate that to the gym.
