Chargers and Dolphins will battle at 7 p.m. Sun Devil Stadium

Oct. 26, 2003

TEMPE, Ariz. - The National Football League (NFL) has announced the Monday Night Football game between the San Diego Chargers and the Miami Dolphins, scheduled for October 27 in San Diego, has been moved to Sun Devil Stadium because of wildfires affecting southern California. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MST and will air on ABC.
Admission for the game will be free to all fans while donations will be collected at the gates and will be given to San Diego charities. Gates will open to the public starting at 4:30 p.m. and lineups will not be permitted until the gates are opened. Upon entering the stadium, fans will be issued a ticket with an assigned seat number. Fans holding tickets purchased prior to the contest will not be honored at the gates. For refund inquiries, please contact the San Diego Chargers ticket office at 1-877-CHARGERS.

Parking for the game will be located around campus. No tickets will be issued for parking in decaled lots prior to the game. Fans are asked to be patient in finding a parking space as classes at Arizona State will be in session and parking will be limited.

We were all laughing about that today- there will hopefully be more people there than any cards game ever....

Hmmm- fans exist if you have a non-loser team...?

Is this REALLY going to be any better than a Cardinals game?

shooting yourself in the leg with a nail gun would be better than watching a cards game...

They had to make it free, so the damn stadium would not be empty for MNF... LMAO

Arizona Cards fans can only fill that place up if it is free...

I wonder if will even fill up?

I bet it looks like the away bleachers @ a high school football game :FRlol:
