Hey magdalena !! Nice to hear from a fellow european !
I'm from the mid part of Sweden between Gothenburg and Stockholm if you know where that is...

My mom has never been overweight, but she has never been a fan of exercising either. She used to be a runway model in her 20's, but after she had us kids she's become a hypochondriac and always has some kind of illness... She's also a heavy smoker and won't quit...
My norwegian relatives has the same problem my mom has got and I think I'm the only one who's healthy in my family...

Hi Norway, i think we are only from about 400 kilometer away from each others birthplaces. I studied Sweeds in school but was concentarting on Engels so much like everyone else. Wish i had kept studing it. Amerikans think often that i am sweedse because i am tall with blonde hair and bleu eyes and i guess they cannot tell a dutch accent. Even when i am speaking dutch they say somethimes, "are you sweedish?".

Yes my ma smoked so much too....and even after she had cancer. 80% of dutch people smoke, how much is it in Sweden do you think? Her diet was good i think but she had a heart attack when i was 18 anway. Unlucky i guess.

Well I think that there are far to many people smoking in Sweden today... I can't stand smoking myself. I'm not allergic or anything but I just hate it !!

Actually people have a tendancy to smoke even more in Norway. The youngsters seem to think it's really cool to smoke, but I think the older people are beginning to realize how bad it is and are quitting more often.

I wonder if it's that hard to quit as people say it is...

My mom smokes like a fiend. She thinks my muscles are ugly. We are like night and day. She is very snobbish for no apparent reason. That is one of the reasons why we don't get along. She is very critical of everything and puts other people down. I find her very closed minded and irritating.
Oh and magdelena I don't think Americans know the difference between Dutch, German, or the Netherlands.
