Video game sting takes down St. Louis police chief | Games Blog - Yahoo! Games
The Xbox brand is getting out of hand. Must be all mob marketing and online digital crack you've been peddling, turning everyone from kids to police chiefs into console-stealing, runaway, family murdering monsters. Or maybe they've been that way all along, and this is some kind of miraculous detection system to weed out the bad seeds in society little by little. Or is it a deal with the government to help recruit and condition/desensitize more youths to fight in current and future wars? Iran sure is lookin pretty hot these days. Surely they gotta have a plan of some sorts, besides money of course. Microsoft always thinks big. Maybe their new casual/kid friendly Kinect approach is a front for some behind the scenes clandestine politics of sorts.
Really though, every time I hear, see or read of some gamer doing stupid, it was over Xbox this or that. Never hear of stuff quite like this about PC/PS3/Wii users. Unless you count the Columbine Doom kids or the PSN/Music/Qriocity/SOE hacking that along with an earthquake and not to forget, some poor management helped nearly bankrupted Sony. But they're a different breed of criminal. With PS3 nearly caught up to Xbox 360 global sales and surpassing it in online userbase, you'd think you'd hear of more.
