Well like some of you already know from my previous posts i have been trying to lose weight but because of my diet my metabolism went way down but now i am eating right so how long would ya say before it starts to speed up and i start to lose weight again?

It depends on how poor it was to start with I'd say. If you're doing all the right things you'll see results in a few months I'm sure at the latest.

so does that mean that in the meantime ill be gaining weight since my metabolism is so slow and im eating so much more or it will just stay the same?

Sorry missed all the early bits!

Did you whack your calories up to what you need to eat in one hit or do it gradually??

Best to do things gradually, 10-20 % increases or decreases in calories when you are changing your diet!

ya i just pushed it back up really quickly and its been a week now but i havent gained anything yet, havent lost really anything either so what do ya suggest i do?

It can take 4-8 weeks to get your metabolic rate humming again, make sure you're taking in EFAs and potassium:

Refeeds are also and important part of your diet, so make sure you have those lined up. You can used my CKD carb-up as an example.

Once you really crash diet, it takes time to restore your metabolic rate, so stick with it and results will follow.
