ME camber bar - 2 board

I haven't been in here for awhile!! Well, last time I posted I told you that my floor press really stunk and I didn't really want to attempt it again.....I did and it went up 30 lbs!!!!!!!

But anyway, last Saturday I did the camber bar with the 2 board and found it to be pretty difficult!!! My weakness on the bench is off my chest, I think this excersise will really help me out with this problem......I HOPE!!!! I still have a few more months until my first competition, but I want to go there and be STRONG and know that I'm going to get the record I'm shooting for, not go in and choke and miss it........so does anyone have any recommendations for some other excersises to help me get the strength off my chest...I've got a good lockout, strong tri's just gotta work the lower end.

I'd really appreciate any advice that you have...Lexi
 
speed bench and illegal wides are great for the bottom part of the bench.

one thing i have started doing that is kinda uncoventional is i put heavy weight on the bar for bench......... i will do what i can with 3-5 reps for about 2-3 sets.

i lower the bar down to my chest.... and then press it up until my tri's start to really fire......... then i lower it.......... i know this sounds like bodybuilding.......... but i has nothing to do with it........ my form is just like when i bench....... i do in after i work my triceps on both bench days.

give it a try...... might help a ton

I don't have my shirt yet....going to get a double ply poly, but not ordering until end of May. I appreciate the advice, I'll take all I can get.
