This is after my 1st Westside 9 week basic program.
July 24, 2002:

Bench: 335
Squat: 405
Deadlift: 375

Second Westside 9 basic week program,
Nov 4, 2002:

Bench: 365 , I tried 375 but I had nothing left.
Squat: 425
Deadlift: 405

I hurt my glute/ham over a month ago and it is still bothering me when the weight gets heavy, so with the squats and deads Itried my best. I could have gone higher but I was too scared.
 
Prioir to the 1st 9 weeks, I would hit the gym once or twice a week or once or twice a month. I was just plain lazy. I did 315 a year ago and right before I was getting 275 for a rep or two.
I haven't done deadlifts in over a year and my best squat was 385 (3 years ago).

Today is my birthday and I really wanted to do well, and I am happy with my progression.

I would love to break 400 lbs on the bench press by New Years and I would like to add another 50 lbs to the squat and deadlift.
 
This is how it went today:
Bench:
bar x 5 , 135 x 5, 185 x 5, 225 x 3 275 x 1, 315 x 1, 365 X 1(PR), 375 x 0.

Squat:
B x 5, 135 x 5, 225 x 3, 275 x 1, 365 x 1, 425 x 1(PR).

Deadlifts: (I'm very new to sumo and hurt myself doing them a month ago)
sumo Bar x 5, sumo 135 x 5, sumo 225 x 3, conven 225 x 1, sumo 275 x 1, sumo 315 x 1(painfull), conven 315 x 1, conven 365 x 1, conven 405 x 1(PR), 455 x 0.

the reason I started out with sumo is because I feel very confortable doing them. But once it gets heavy my glute/ham screams at me and I have to stop, to my surprise my converntional deadlifts went up pretty easy. have always done convern style deads.
