Its fuckin bullshit. Why didnt anybody do anything to stop it? They all watched... Fuck! This kind of shit drives me crazy. Folks in London need to stop this shit but instead they just pussed out and watched. Shit like that wouldnt fly in merica. Thos is why I carry a fuckin gun everywhere I go. Fuck I am pissed!

you'll find that in extreme circumstances a good deal of people have no idea how to react so in turn, do nothing.
I've noticed the effect in myself on emergency calls or wild shit that's happened in front of me but I don't just freeze; I pause, take everything in and then respond.

I've got a friend who's dad (in his 70's) is an armored car driver in London. He's unarmed, and has been robbed 3 times in the decade or so that I've known him. He was beat over the head with a billy club and robbed once. The last time he was robbed, a guy jumped out of a dumpster and ran at him with a machete, so he chucked the bag of cash at the guy.
