Doctor Proctor in Houston, Texas. The man is a MD, and has 2 Ph.ds. He worked for the FDA as their chief researcher that served as their front man for discovering the legitimate companies and downright frauds in hair growth promotions. After 8 years in that capaacity, he set out on his own, and established his own practice. The man has several patents, and I personally used his products and grew a significant amount of hair. He offers his non script formula on the Life Extension catalog. Out of all the docs they are aware of, they selected him. You can call information and speak to his receptionist.

Post pics.

Dr. Toby Mayer in Bev Hills- pioneered the hair flap and is second to none in nose surgery- he took very good care of me.

why no to newhair.com???

that doc is well recommended in Hollywood, and everyone I meet (who wants to talk about it) have nothing to do but say good things about his work.

on the internet, only 10% of what's out their is truth. Every patient is widely different. It's like rating heart surgeons. Always be careful.

any of these really work?
like hair transplants,,,do you really end up growing your own hair again?
I would NEVER wear a rug

i don't fully understand hair transplants.....

If they transplant a hair wouldn't that hair's follicle closeup and cause the transplanted hair to fall out eventually? OR does it stay forever? How?

Do you have to have maintenance transplants done periodically?

Can someone explain the procedure and why is works?

google "hair transplantation".

videos, articles, etc. Way better than one can describe here.

and yes - hr is pretty rock solid nowadays. Shocking what they can do (as long as you have SOME hair left).

the hair on the sides and back of your head are less succeptible to affect of DHT than those on the top of your head. DHT affinity is what causes hair loss in those afflicted with MPB.

Dr. Sword, Ca...very good doctor, professional staff. The hair will last, it all depends on how you take care of the sites post surgery.

For those in the know nicnitro's list is pretty spot on.

Be very careful. Research and research some more....... and it's certainly not the doctors with the fancy ads and hollywood endorsements who you want to be considering.
