Letsgrow's natty 90 day transformation log

Buying a house is right up there with losing a close relative as one of the major stress inducers in life... Don't let it get you down too much bro. Working out is supposed to reduce stress :)

Defeat is the stepping stone to victory.

Thanks cs and everyone, one of the biggest problems is that it throws off my training schedule a but. Today will have to workout at work gym.

This morning 45 minutes fasted cardio.
15 mins elliptical
15 mins stairs
15 mins treadmill (moderate pace)

Good effort on the cardio bro. I can never manage early morning anything! Just not a morning person.

Also did some little chest workout yesterday at work during lunch.

Moderate incline db press
50x15
75x12
100x8
100x5 (100's were as high as they went 😖)

Flat ng db press (didn't go heavy, more more stretch)
75x8x3

Machine press (kept light)
130x15x2
160x12x2

My work gym only has DBs up to 25kg (55lbs) so yours ain't too bad. I only really use em for lateral raises.

So saw dr and did blood and urine test. Have to wait for results. He did talk to me about my diet and thought that I am probably not eating enough to help me add/sustain muscle and/or drop fat but won't be sure until he gets the results back. So now it's a waiting game lol.

Some moderate back today.

Not sure how long but he seemed to think he would call me with results some time this week.

Sweet, sooner you get em the sooner you can make necessary changes and kill shit propa!!!

That's the plan.

45 mins fasted cardio this morning. Elliptical, stairs then treadmill each for 15 minutes.

Pretty consistent with your fasted cardio bro. Fat should be melting off you :)

Wish it were...dr thinks I might not be eating enough to actually melt the fat, added some more carbs into diet to see how that goes. I am definitely feeling more hungry which is good so hopefully all goes well. I am monitoring what types of carbs I take in and when.

I'd urge you to try eating for your blood type, since I tried it I've found eating so much easier. That in itself makes me think it's worth it. I'll be even more convinced once I see the test results (assuming they prove the point!) so far today I've had 3,300 cals and haven't felt too full or bloated at all!

Of course being able to fit it all in may not be your problem.....

I am eating pretty well for my blood type, I really don't have dairy and my fruits are fairly limited as well. I usu stick to almonds for any kind of but I ingest so I am pretty inline with everything. I was eating pretty good today and could feel my body burning constantly, actually sweating a decent amount as well (which could have been assisted by the n2burn) but I was sweating even hours after I took it so I think a good combo of the diet and supplement. I didn't lift today but did do some softball practice with a buddy after work so def got in some exercise.

Ha! Same here! I've been eating all day it was so easy and I'm still losing weight! Probably had a bit too much milk today, 3 large lattes and half a litre (just under a pint) of milk with my shake... :RADAR

Defeat is the stepping stone to victory.

Nice.

Hey Grow where you bro? You get the call from your doc yet? Still killin it I hope?

Sorry man, fucking mad house as of late. No call from dr yet, just found out yesterday that my offer on a house has been accepted, work is chaotic, had a softball scrimmage after work (softball is like rounders for you uk folk, also like American baseball but with a bigger ball as different pitching) and trying I manage all the info I need I collect for the mortgage on top of it. I got a quick arm workout in yesterday on my lunch break at work, first time taking n2amp and let me tell you, I don't think I will ever train without it. My arm pump from such a pissy little workout was so immense that I couldn't even touch my back when I showered and I had to cut a slit in my polo shirt to even get my arms in it, absolutely nuts!!!

Hey good news on the house LG. and yeah rounders lol I get that. ;)

Cut yer shirt to get your arms in! Nice, bet that made ya feel like the Hulk!!!

Good to hear your offer was accepted! Now the real hassle begins!

Baseball (or rounders) is actually the ONLY ball game I like! I even went to see the giants when I was in SF back in '08 :D

Nice! Yeah def felt like the hulk can't wait to see what it is like on my other workouts.

Very interested to hear how that goes. May have to order some for myself. Got some N2KTS on the way....

Type O people are the meat eaters of the human race. One reason for this was that Cro-Magnon man had little or no knowledge and access to fruits and vegetables. Over time, however, humans made their way out in search of food and migrated to Asia and Europe. Livestock and grain cultivation found its place in the food chain, and people could now let go of their nomadic ways and settle down in one place.

Food now took on very distinct identity in the form of carbohydrates. Genetic alteration took place so that the nutrients could be better absorbed and so, blood type A was born. The biological changes that took place then can be seen in the 21st century too.

Dietary habits for blood type A

Blood type A has low levels of hydrochloric acid and alkaline phosphatase but high levels of a digestive enzyme called intestinal disaccharide, which means animal protein is not easily digested, but carbohydrates are. This also indicates that type A best suits a vegetarian diet. Food eaten must be pure, organic, and as fresh as possible.

Meat eating type A’s should eliminate the more toxic foods from their diet. A good diet will ensure that your immune system gets plenty of charge to fight for itself. By nature, Type A people have sensitive immune systems,
Stress is very typical for blood type A. They have higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol, which makes them react to stressful situations. Symptoms that could occur due to stress are disturbed sleep patterns and brain fog during the day. To ensure the cortisol levels are under control, do the following:

Limit sugar, alcohol and caffeine intake
Don’t skip meals, especially breakfast
Eat smaller, more frequent meals
Blood type A people should also ensure that they limit exposure to:

Crowds
Loud noise
Negative emotions
Smoking
Strong smells or perfumes
Overwork
Violent movies
Lack of sleep
Extreme weather conditions (hot or cold)
Foods that blood type A should eat are:

Health issues to be aware of

There are some issues that AB types should know about. Given below are some such issues that will help AB types lead a happy healthy life.

Lectins irritate the digestive tract and blood of AB types. Chicken is best avoided for this reason.
Dairy foods are okay, but mucus production increases if too much is consumed.
Nuts, seeds, legumes, and beans must be eaten in moderation.
Rice is better than pasta, as the inner kernel of wheat forms high levels of acid in the stomach muscles.
Grains are best offset by alkaline fruits that help balance the acid released by wheat.
A glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon will help get rid of the mucus accumulated overnight.
Gall bladder issues cannot be ruled out, so it’s better to have nut butters rather than the nuts themselves.
Kidney and lima beans tend to slow down production of insulin in AB types.
When the diet comprises of corn, buckwheat, lima beans, and sesame seeds, the Type B insulin reaction sets in, which means hypoglycemia is but an obvious outcome. Metabolism is affected when blood sugar is low.
Type AB persons have weak stomach acid production. They are advised to take amino acid supplements for this purpose.
Carbonated drinks will also increase the stomach acid. Caffeinated drinks intake must be limited because there is a danger of over–stimulating the already high adrenaline production.
Tofu is a good protein supplement instead of meat, but too much will also increase mucous production.
Of course, in the end, it is an individuals’ own constitution that dictates what suits and what does not. Check with a dietician if you feel there are some allergy issues you need to sort out among the list of good foods.

Diet for the B type

Stressful situations result in higher levels of cortisol being released in the system. Excess cortisol makes people react to stress in a negative manner, which leads to further psychological imbalance.

There are some Lectins that are sensitive to B type blood. To ensure that neither of the two affect your overall health, it’s best to follow a diet that avoids food that has high levels of toxicity.

Type B people are also quite prone to infections of the sinus, urinary tract, E.Coli, and influenza. Most antigens have blood Type B-like characteristics, and since bacterial antigens don’t attack those that resemble their own, B group people are vulnerable to them.

Overall, people with blood type B type are known to be sturdy. They can usually resist most of the present day lifestyle diseases like cancer and heart troubles. If they follow the required diet and ensure a balanced lifestyle, most people with blood type B can live long healthy lives.

B blood type people can break down fats easily. They have high levels of the bone strengthening enzyme called intestinal alkaline phosphotase. However, they have insulin issues too, so foods with high glucose content should be eaten only in moderation. A lot of B type people are of African American descent, which means they may or may not be lactose intolerant too. In such cases, care has to taken when consuming dairy products.

Grapefruit and guava are good sources of beneficial lycopenes, while dried apricots are an excellent snack. Fish and seafood are good sources of protein, and kidney and navy beans are good because they do not have lectins like other beans and legumes.

Blood type B people can include variety of foods in their diets. In fact, the diet for blood type B is considered the most balanced and wholesome diet as compared to other groups. Given below are foods that they should avoid and foods that are good for them:

Foods to avoid

Tomatoes, wheat, corn, lentils, buckwheat, peanuts, sesame seeds
Shellfish, chicken
Beans and legumes, grains and starches, avocados
Persimmons, Pomegranates, Star fruit, and Prickly pear
Cinnamon, Pepper, Sesame oil, Sunflower oil and Corn oil
Foods that work well for B type people

Green vegetables
Deep sea fish
Low fat dairy, and eggs
Rice milk, rice bran, rice flour, millet, oats
Onions, artichokes, parsnip
Olive oil, flaxseed oil
Grapes, figs, and dates can be eaten in moderation
Goat meat, lamb, turkey, venison
Corn, buckwheat, sesame seeds, peanuts and lentils are known to cause weight gain and affect the metabolic rate of people with blood type B. They may also result in problems like hypoglycemia, fatigue, and water retention. Your blood sugar level may also go down after you eat a meal comprising one or more of these foods.

Nuts and seeds like peanuts and sesame seeds have lectins that might interfere with inusiln production in blood type B. Tomatoes are known to affect the stomach lining and therefore, should be eliminated from the diet. Wheat also should be avoided because it contains lectins that bring down insulin efficiency and hamper the fat burning process of the body.

Although a lean meat, chicken contains a lectin in its muscle tissue that causes agglutination in blood type B. This agglutinating lectin can cause immunity-related problems and even strokes in people with blood type B. Shesllfish also contains lectins that are disruptive for blood type and therefore, should be avoided.

On the good side, blood type B is most tolerant to and benefits from all types of dairy products. Deep ocean are good for them and green vegetables, deep sea fish, low fat dairy, and eggs promote weight loss. Also, replacing chicken with goat meat, lamb, turkey, and venison is more beneficial for blood type B.

The B blood type digestive system is tolerant, which means it can handle both animal and vegetable carbohydrates and proteins. Their immune system is strong is capable of resisting most chronic degenerative illnesses. The system works best when one does moderate exercises like swimming, tennis, hiking, and cycling. The blood type B people are lucky because they can eat a far more varied diet than their brethren in type A and type O.

RADAR you left me out bro! I'm AB!

It's cool though, I've got the book!! You may be aware I'm planning on testing the theory, I'm going to eat wrong for my type until the end of the month, then get blood tests, then follow the diet to the letter for a month or so and see if it makes any noticeable positive changes to cholesterol, lipid and liver values etc.

I'll be logging it here of you're interested. Ok not on LG's log! I'll start a new one obviously. :)

Thanks bro. I suppose it'd be a bit hypocritical of either of us object to our thread being jacked.....

Awesome post radar, u guys got me looking into this now...I'm thinking I'm type b, how do I find out? Lol

GJ you can find out your type easily, they ought to be able to do it wherever you usually get your bloods done its a simple test, only £25 over here. If you're type B milk and dairy shouldn't bloat you at all. My brother is B and here thrives on dairy milk, cheese, yoghurt etc..

Thanks everyone. Def dedicated, results are not that great as of now due to eating too few calories and hindering things I feel (was eating approx 3000 a day and dr saying I needed to up it to like 3500-3750 to drop the fat but would be more precise once blood work came back, which I still have to call about, just been swamped with everything going on lately). Feeling a bit better though so happy about that. Back and bis today and 8 pills of n2amp, ready to tear this shit apart.

Missed cardio this morning unfortunately. I do have some softball after work today though so that will act as my cardio.
