It is becoming more acceptable for tattoos, but I still find it inappropriate for a teacher to have a showing tattoo. But that is simply my opinion, I just wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I know many teachers who have tattoos in conspicuous places, and I don't think badly of them - it is just not something I want my students and their parents to see daily.

Right on! I agree with you 100% My wife is a teacher and there's no way she'd have one that was in any way visible to the children or parents. Sometimes you are the only positive role model they have!
