Leg pump preventing me from getting a good workout

5'11" 205 lbs, 1 bb show under my belt.

I have never challenged my legs the same way I challenge the rest of my body. Lately I have but the problem is after 3 sets on the leg press or squats or something if I REALLY push it (fight for that 12th,13th,14th,15th rep), my legs blow up that walking is difficult and I can't do any meaningful weight anymore. Should I back off challenging myself so I can get more sets in or should I be satisfied with the incredible pump and let time take care of it as I get stronger and stronger?

I think you just need to let the time take care of it!

yea i mean my legs are definitely growing even when the rest of my body seems stalled. im excited by how much potential development there is in there that i havent tapped into yet! its never too late to bring up your legs

So you are good. In my case if i worked them with heavy weights for low reps I'm toasted and it's the only way I do it now and they grow. An awesome upperbody with skinny legs it's a real disapointment, specially on BB show.

i used to have that problem. keep training in the 15, 20, 25 rep range. youll adjust and the growth will come with it.
