Late Night Eating??

Does anybody else have a problem with eating late at night, 10-12 pm?

I eat very clean throughout the day, but at night I always have cravings for sweets or chips of some sort. If I choose chips, I eat the baked. I'm wondering if any of you go through the same thing and if so, what do you do? Do you just fight it and drink a big glass of water and go to bed, or do you have a recipe that is healthy and low calorie that subdues the cravings?

Thanks

i have the same problem some night i go on a eating feast, though my last a lot longer cause I'm up later then 12. I been trying to eat alot more earlier in the day hopefully it won't make me so hungry at night.

^^ THIS is a good start ... it's all about what you're eating, when, how much, your activity level, and heck, sometimes you DO and do NOT need to look to an appetite supressant for help ... How's YOUR water intake?

It's not uncommon to have a sweet tooth ... adapting to a different lifestyle/way of eating takes time & practice.

Things in moderation are ok as well.

I also have cravings at night that is why I stopped doing the CKD and I am on a normal 40% 30% 30% diet (sometimes I vary it) which works fine for me because I can do cardio with more gust. Usually when I crave something I have a couple of gummy bears and lots of water after which helps settle the cravings.

I'm finding the Casein Whey (ON Chocolate) helps with my sweet cravings. I need to stock up on more flavors. I have issues with craving salty foods once a month.

Salt has gotten a bad rap from the media. Unless you have existing problems, (hyeprtension or pre), sodium can be and is beneficial. Not to overdo it, but don't be so afraid of it you look to avoid all sodium.

Exactly what has been mentioned here a few posts ago. Find a nice time released protein shake for later at night. This will help with the cravings and if you find something that tastes really good, it might just help that sweet tooth as well.

Muscle Milk is a good shake I use, however I try to use it in the AM due to the excess ingredients in it.
